3: Masyadong mahigpit si heneral!

"Mas mababa pa siya sa isang lamok."

A shiver went through her spine, and the tips of her fingers were tingling.

"General Vivie!" Moni saluted.

Sa sandali na ito, parehas ang nasa isip nila Yuris at Cleo, "What a two-faced person...so shameless..."

They both followed along and saluted.

Vivie swept glances and continued turned with her food tray.

"Humanda ka bukas, tandaan mo ang sinabi ko sayo kanina." at nagpatuloy na siyang lumakad.

"Yes!" sagot ni Moni.

Nung malayo na si Vivie, umupo siya sa isang mesa, magisa.

"Tingnan mo siya oh, magisa lang sa isang mesa hehe." Moni laughed.

"Were you even sincere earlier?" Cleo spanked the back of Moni's head.

"Ow!"

"She's alone because no one eats with her." Yuris said as she sat back with the other two.

"Heh, buti nga." Moni scoffed.

Sa susunod na araw, sa isang daanan tabi-tabing naglakad sila Moni, Yuris, at Cleo.

"Moni, you offended the general so much yesterday..." Yuris sighed.

"Oo nga, she won't let you off that easy later!" Cleo scolded.

"Hah! Let's just see..."

So the training started, and Moni just went with the flow listening to Vivie's orders.

For some reason, Vivie had been always looking at her way, with a frosty look.

Not only that, Moni was given tougher training on purpose.

"Everyone, 20 push ups. Moni, 40 push ups."

"But..."

"Everyone, 50 sit ups. Moni, 70 sit ups."

"What!?"

"Everyone, 10 laps around the place. Moni, 20 laps."

"Wait!!!"

So in the end of the tough day, she was numb all over and out of breathe, her breathing unstable, so she lay on the stone floor.

"Hey, don't lay there, it's dirty." sabi ni Cleo. "Ilan ka na ba, ha!? Five?"

"Hayaan mo nalang ako...humiga..."

Sa oras na ito ay palubog na ang araw, ang langit na kulay kahel, at dalawang babae nakaupo sa tabi niya.

Under the red sun, the two women with their tanned skin appeared as if they glowed.

"Totoo rin nga talaga ang sinabi ni heneral," sabi ni Yuris. "Akala ko kaninng umaga ay hahayaan ka niya lang."

"Kahit ganun, wag naman siyang mapili ng pahirapan..." Moni mourned.

Sadyang pagod na pagod talaga si Moni, hindi lang na dahil sobra ang training sakanya, kundi sa totoong buhay niya ay halos hindi ga ehersisyo si Moni ng sobra.

"Napansin ko lang, bakit may pagkabago sa ugali mo bago lang?" tanong ni Cleo. "Dati hindi ka naman nag-iinarte ng ganito, at mas lalo ng hindi kang nakikilibak kay heneral."

"Tanungin mong nanay mo."

Ano naman ba ang pwede niyang masabi? Hindi niya naman pwedeng sabihin na nanaginip siya at napansin niya nalang hindi pala panaginip pero naka time-travel siya ng anong rason.

"Tsk." Cleo rolled her eyes.

That time, Moni layed on the ground for who-knows-how long, and the three chatted together for who-knows-how long.

When it was finally dark, the three ate together in the eatery.

For some reason, after the meeting yesterday, the three got along very well and kept clinging to each other without even realizing.

But Moni felt something amiss.

"Nasaan si heneral?" tanong niya.

"Ano naman ba ang kinalaman mo doon?" Cleo sneered.

"Tama noh? Wala siya lagi sa kainan ngayon." sabi ni Yuris.

Pagkatapos ng ilang subo ng pagkain, biglang tumayo si Moni, "Busog na ako."

"Hoy! Saan ka pupunta!?" tanong ni Cleo.

At kagaya ng ganon, umalis si Moni sa kainan.

Naglibot at nagikot si Moni hanggang nakadating siya sa harap ng residente, inikutan niya ito papunta sa bakod sa likod, at pumasak sa pinto.

Just as expected, nakita niya si Vivie sa loob ng silid.

"General Vivie!" she rushed to Vivie.

"Manners!"

"Oh," Moni saluted, "General Vivie."

Then Moni realized that Vivie was slightly trembling, she took a closer look and saw Vivie's right shoulder was bleeding.

"General!"

She helped Vivie up, "What on earth happened here..."

"Get lost! Go away, I don't need your help." Vivie glared.

Moni thought, ikaw na nga ang tinutulungan tapos ikaw pa ang magagalit, hmph!

"Hay...dali na." habang sinabi ito ni Moni, dinala niya si Vivie sa loob ng silid, ang braso ni Vivie nakapatong sa balikat ni Moni.

"Sabing alis!"

Tumango sila sa may igahan at pinaupo ni Moni si Vivie.

"You don't have to be so fierce, wait a minute."

Moni looked around the room that was completely neat and organized, as expected from a stiff person like Vivie.

After a while, she arrived with medicinal aids with her and sat next to Vivie.

Moni looked at Vivie, "Alisin mo ang damit mo."

"What??"

"Sabi, alisin mo ang damit mo."
