It's been two days to that incident and Karan knew one thing that Monami was trying to avoid him from last two days. Whenever he tried to talk to her, she would make some excuses and run away from him.

It was past dinner time and Monami hadn't come to take her dinner and because of this Karan was a little worried about it so, he took a dinner plate with him to Monami's room.

He knocked on her door and Monami opened it without seeing that whose on the other side of the door. She just went back in her bed and covered herself till her neck. She closed her eyes and said...

Monami - Amar main na Tera khoon kar dugi. Tujhe itni der kyu lagi yaha vapas aane me? Tujhe pata tha na ke main tera wait kar rahi hu, tu itna idiotic kabse ho gya hai?

Ek to pata hai maine kitna bada jhol kiya hai...??? Maine Major Karan Shergill se almost apna pyaar confess kar liya. Pata nahi, vo kya soch rahe hoge mere baare me...!!!

Karan smiled at her innocence. He wanted to tell her that he would be so happy to know that she also loves him but before he can say anything, Amar entered inside her room suddenly and said...

Amar (Apologetically) - Sorry sorry sorry, maaf karde yaar. Late ho gya vo...

But he stopped then and there, seeing Karan there. He greeted him in a hurry and Karan just nodded at him with a straight face. When Monami heard this, she just hid under the covers fully. Karan said...

Karan (In a challenging tone)- Captain Batra, mind if I want to talk to you're best friend, Captain Dr. Mahajan here?

Amar (With a faltering smile) - Ofcourse not sir...!!! Aap baat kariye main chalta hu.

And he left from there hurriedly. Karan nodded and turned towards Monami, who was still under covers out of fear. Karan chuckled at her and sat beside her, putting the dinner plate away, on her side table.

Karan tried to remove the duvet but Monami didn't let him do that. She was practically scared to death. She said...

Monami (From still under covers) - Karan, aap please chale jayiye. Main bahar nahi aanewali. Mujhe is baare me kisi se koi baat nahi karni hai.

Karan (Chuckling a little) - Par tum mujhse bhag kyu rahi ho? Kya maine kuch kiya hai? Are you avoiding me because of something?

He didn't said it out loud but he wanted to tease her a little so, he said...

Karan (Faking anger) - Thik hai, agar tum mujhse baat hi nahi karna chahti to main ja raha hu... Ab main tumse kabhi baat karne ki koshish bhi nahi karuga.

He got up to leave but Monami caught his hand from under the duvet and pulled him back to sit beside her. She didn't let go of his hand and Karan was happy to see this and it was reflecting in his broad smile.

But after a second he noticed something and he got worried in an instant. He forcefully made her come out of the duvet and said...

Karan (Cupping her face) - Tumhe to bahot zyada bukhar hai, Monami. Hume infirmary chalna chahiye, tumhari tabiyat thik nahi hai...!!!

He was going to pick her up in his arms but Monami stopped him and said...

Monami (Hurriedly) - Karan, main bilkul thik hu...!!!

Checking her forehead, he said...

Karan - Tumhare haath garam hai, tumhara matha garam hai aur tum keh rahi ho ke tum thik ho? Tumhe high fever hai, Monami...!!!

Monami (Irritatingly) - Doctor main hu ke aap??? Main thik hu, Karan. Just trust me okey...???

Karan - But Monami...

She got fade up of this and said...

Monami (In frustration) - I'm on my periods, Karan...!!!

Karan (Still not paying attention) - Haa vo thik hai par... Ek minute ruko... (Getting her point) WHAT...???!!!

Monami (Nodding) - Haa, Karan... I'm on my periods aur ye bas iske effects hai.

Karan (Feeling a little embarrassing) - Oh...!!!

Monami tried hard to stop her laugh but couldn't as Karan was looking so damn funny and cute. No one will say that he's Karan as he looks so fierce in front of other people but right now, he was looking like a child who got caught doing something naughty by his mother.

Monami finally laughed out loud as she couldn't contain herself in. While laughing she cupped his face and said...

Monami (Still giggling) - Oh Karan...!!! You're so cute...!!!

Karan made a very bad face but then smiled broadly at her. He was relieved that she wasn't running away from him anymore and laughing on him without any fear.

No one ever dared to smile at him, let alone laugh on him. He was happy that apart from Sid and Faizi, there's someone who isn't afraid of him because of the seniority or of some other reasons.

Suddenly, Karan pushed her on the bed and was on her half laying. Monami took a sharp breath and tried to move but Karan didn't let her. She said...

Monami (A little hesitantly) - Ye aap... kya kar rahe hai, Karan? Please hatiye mere upar se.

Karan (Smirking at her reaction) - Badi hasi aa rahi thi na tumhe to ab haso na, MONU BABY...!!!

Monami (In a shock) - MONU BABY...!!! Karan aap thik to hai? Aapko pata bhi hai ke aap kya bol rahe hai?

Karan laid down beside her, putting his weight on his right elbow. He said...

Karan (Seriously) - Tum mujhse bhag kyu rahi ho, Monami? It's been two days, mujhe tumse baat kiye hue...!!!

She didn't said anything but turned away from him to hide her face from him. Suddenly, something came over him and he sat straight. He said...

Karan (Without looking at her) - I WAS THE ONE WHO SAVED YOU, FOUR YEARS BACK...!!!

Monami sat straight listening this. Karan continued...

Karan - Main tumhe pehle batana chahta tha but mera ek reason tha ke jiski vajah se nahi bata paya... Ab ye tumpe hai ke ye janne ke baad bhi tumhe mujhse baat karni hai ya nahi.

And he left from there without saying anything further but he didn't notice the tears in her eyes. Tears of happiness that she finally found her Soldier Bear...!!!
