Monami wanted to talk to him but she wasn't feeling well at all because of the obvious reasons. She ate her dinner brought by him and slept thinking that she will talk to him in the morning but she didn't know that she will miss the chance to talk to him as she forgot that their lives are unpredictable. Anything can come up for them, in their lives. Anything can happen.

Karan came back to his room and started to walk to and fro. He got a call from Sid and he picked up the call.

On the call,

Sid (Happily) - Hey guys, we are on a conference call. Ek good news hai... SANJU NE MUJHE HA BOL DIYA AUR HUM TWO MONTHS BAAD SHAADI KAR RAHE HAI...!!!

Karan (With a little smile) - Congratulations, Siddharth...!!! Aur Faizi tu kab bol raha hai Koel ko?

Faizi (In a matter of fact tone) - For your information, hum Koel ko bata chuke hai aur pichhle pure do mahino ki mehnat ke Baad jakar unhone hume haa kaha hai. Hum unhe agle hafte apni Ammi se milvane ke liye le ja rahe hai.

Karan (A little disappointedly) - Oh...!!!

Sid and Faizi understood the matter so they said together...

Sid/Faizi (Straightaway) - Teri/Tumhari daal nahi gali/baat nahi bani?

Karan (A little disappointedly) - Guys, maine use bata diya ke 4 saal pehle main hi tha ke jisne uski jaan bachayi thi. Vo mujhe kabse avoid hi kare ja rahi thi.

(Happily) Lekin itna to aaj pakka ho gya ke vo bhi mere liye kuch to feel karti hai...!!! Magar vo abhi tak mujhse baat karne nahi aayi hai.

Kya maine use zaroorat se zyada jaldi bata diya? Kya mujhe thoda aur wait karna chahiye tha? Kya mujhe firse usse jakar baat karni chahiye?

Sid - Bro, break laga le yaar...!!! And yes, you should pursue her being a guy but use thoda space dena bhi zaroori hai. Use sochne ka waqt dena bhi zaroori hai.

Faizi - Exactly Karan, unke dimaag me ye baat aani bahot hi zaroori hai ke aap dono ke beech dosti ke alava bhi aur kuch ho sakta hai. Aaj aapne unhe sachchai batayi hai to ab unhe thoda waqt dijiye, taaki vo khudko aapko face karne ke liye aur aapse baat karne ke liye prepare kar sake.

Karan (Nodding his head) - I think you guys are right... Thik hai to main kal tak wait karta hu varna main khud baat karunga usse. Main use khud se dur nahi jaane duga kabhi. Vo na bolegi to use manauga but use khud se dur nahi hone duga.

Sid - That's the spirit bro...!!! Chal ab raat bahot ho gayi hai aur lights out bhi ho chuka hai, so jate hai. Good night guys.

Faizi - Exactly aur Karan, kal jo hoga, hume zaroor batana. Good night dost.

Karan - Ofcourse Faizi, good night guys.

Monami still wasn't able to sleep as she still couldn't able to accept the fact that her Major was the one who saved her 4 years back and because of his encouraging words, she joined the army and became an army officer.

She couldn't contain her happiness and called Sanju...

On the call,

Sanju (In a sleepy tone) - Kamini, kam se kam time to dekh liya kar. Aadhi raat ko kon phone karta hai kisiko?

Monami (In a confusion) - Aadhi raat kaha, abhi to sirf 11 baje hai...!!! Tu vo sab chhod, ruk main Kuhu ko connect karti hu.

And she called Koel and took her on the conference call. Koel said...

Koel (Happily smiling) - What's up girls? Kya chal raha hai?

Sanju was fully awake by then. She said...

Sanju (In a confusion) - Tujhe kya hua? Tu itna khush kyu sound kar rahi hai? Kya hua hai Kuhu?

Koel (With a broad smile) - Maine Faizi ko haa bol diya aur Faizi mujhe unki Ammi se milane le ja rahe hai next week.

Monami (Happily) - That's an awesome news. Wow yaar...!!!

Sanju (In a little voice) - Mujhe bhi kuch batana hai girls...

Monami (Realising something) - Kamini, tu kab batanewali thi ye, ke tune Sid ko haa bol diya hai shaadi ke liye...???!!!

Sanju (Smiling broadly) - Are yaar, aaj hi hua hai ye sab. Aur hum dono do mahine baad shaadi kar rahe hai...!!!

Koel/Monami - You bitch/Kamini, tu ye kab batanewali thi? Apne bache honeke baad batati kya?

Sanju - Kal hi batanewali thi... Mera chhodo Kuhu, is kamini ko puchh ke isne abhi call kyu kiya hai? Main so Rahi thi yaar...!!!

Monami (Excitedly) - Are haa, main to bhul hi gayi thi. Sanju, tujhe yaad hai ke mujhe ek soldier ne 4 saal pehle rescue kiya tha?... To vo aur koi nahi, Karan hi hai, My Major...!!!

Sanju (Smilingly) - Noway...!!! Are you kidding?... To tune unse kaha ke tu unse pyaar karti hai? Tune unse kaha ke tu itne saalo se unhe dhundhne ki koshish kar rahi thi?

Monami - Nahi yaar, lekin main unse kal baat karugi. Abhi mere periods ki vajah se mera dimaag bhi kaam nahi kar raha aur pain bhi kafi ho raha hai.

Koel - To aaram kar na. Hum kal is baare me baat karte hai, thik hai?

Sanju - Haa, yahi sahi hoga. Kal baat karte hai is baare me. Bye girls, good night.

Koel - Good night and Monu please take care yaar.

Monami - I will Kuhu, good night girls.

And she cut the call. She slept after a while, with a broad smile on her face. She was very determined to talk to her Major.

Monami got ready hurriedly and straightaway went to Karan's room. She knocked on his door and when he opened the door, he was standing in front of her, wearing his field uniform. Monami asked him...

Monami (In a confusion) - Aapko kahi bheja ja raha hai kya?

Karan (With a smile) - Haa, vo hume kuch militants ke baare me information mili hai aaj subhe, to bas unhe hi pakadne ke liye bheja ja raha hai hume. Aapko kuch baat karni thi kya, Captain?

Monami (With a small smile) - Baat to karni thi Major but that can wait. Aap abhi jayiye, duty comes first.

Karan nodded and started to leave but Monami held his hand and pulled him a little towards herself. She looked here and there and then, kissed on his left cheek. He asked...

Karan (Amusingly) - What was that for, Captain?

She was still holding his hand while looking down shyly...

Monami (Looking down out of shyness) - Vo... Aapko baat karni thi na, magar aap abhi ja rahe ho but... (Looking straight at him) Come back to me in one piece Major or else, main aapse zindagi bhar kabhi baat nahi karugi...!!!

Karan smiled broadly and said...

Karan (Kissing her forehead) - I will, Captain... Aapke alava aur kiske pass jauga main...!!!

And he left from there with a satisfactory smile on his face with the promise to himself that he has to return to his Sketch Girl...
