"Do you ever even use the yacht?" Max asked me without taking his eyes off the sea view.
"When weather is sunny and warmer, yes." I realised it's been a long time since I've been on our yacht, how much I missed the ambiance.
We were sat on his sofa in the living room, talking about literally anything like it wasn't us yelling and getting angrier each second few hours ago. Things were calmer between us now, after the kiss we shared, I wasn't asked to leave one more time so I ended up not leaving, staying as I told him that I would. Now we were having a beer together which I didn't like so much but it was ok, at least he wasn't yelling at my face.
Hours spent together without any physical touch was something new to both us. Don't know why and how we were managing to stay away from each other but it was going very well, not being sure if I preferred this way or not.
The main topic we have been discussing was his championship... finally. I had the chance to congratulate him again and had the chance to listen to his experience face to face. The light in his eyes, explaining the last lap of the race was so priceless that I could understand what it meant for him to become a champion.
"Let me take you out tonight," I offered him the random idea I had. "Let me make it up for not being here."
With questioning what I just offered him, he was considering the offer, "Ok, where, also you're paying."
"What a gentleman..." I said sarcastically.
"That's progress, you went from calling me an asshole to gentleman in a day." Trying not to smirk at his words, I got up from my seat.
I'll walked to the door, hoping I could myself get ready in an hour, yet alone pick him, "Get ready, I'll pick you up in an hour."
"You're not going anywhere," grabbed by my waist, I was pulled towards his body. "You don't need to change, we can leave together."
"I need to get myself a thicker jacket-" Also needed an entire outfit change but didn't mention that to him.
"You can have my jacket.." with his words, he led me to imagine how we would've looked out, together, me in his jacket, in Monaco streets.. God I was gonna have a panic attack. "My jackets aren't that bad, remove that disgusted face."
"Ok," I let him keep me close to his body and gave up on trying to go home to change my clothes. Now, I was having hard time inhaling because the image of us was travelling in my head. Shit, how could I've been so stupid to offer him a dinner like that easily? Everyone was out there and we were never seen together alone before. It was a terrifying image, even if one of my friends or my parents' friends saw us, I knew that would've been spread to entire Monaco and I didn't want that. I did not want to be seen with him, especially not alone. I thought he shared this opinion with me and agree on not get seen with each other but I guess he was too happy about his championship that he didn't care about anything else at the moment.

"I can't believe they told me no and now you're getting a table with a phone call." Max was busy moaning.
"I know the owner," with a smirk on my face I explained.
"Right," I could see his face changing to something more annoyed, "Another guy who can't wait to get you in bed." He claimed looking around to see if the guy was here.
I was pretty happy with the impression he had about me. He should've known better that I was capable of having others if I'd want to. "Who said he hasn't?" I used very confident tone, attempting to annoy him more.
"Should come and thank me that guy," He said before taking a bite of his garlic bread. "As a champion I am bringing more popularity to his restaurant." I was used to his egoistic comments so it didn't bother me.
