A full stomach and 20 minutes later we were back in the training room with sweaty teenagers. The room now smells of sweat and puke. I guess some people were just not used to training like two and one. Honestly this training was less than what we got at home. No wonder they know us as the careers.

"You know Two, Gloss was not happy to hear that you wanted to be part of the alliance."

I shrugged.

"It is what it is. He will get over it."

Thia crossed her arms.

"He was also upset with Egger agreeing to your deal."

I nodded.

"That reminds me, you never gave me your answer there."

Thia looked at me and smirked.

"I think I am good without your alliance."

I smiled back.

"Good then I won't feel nearly as bad when you die."

I turned on my heel and walked to the monkey bars. They were made of rope and I was watching the girl from 8 reach for the next rope only for her to fall. She clenched her knee obviously in pain. She winced lightly but got to her feet and limped off the platform. I wanted to go help her but I had to remind myself of no attachments. I walked up the platform that was a good couple feet in the air. To fall would hurt, not injure but definitely hurt. I went ahead and jumped, grabbing onto the rough rope. The rope was thick and prickly and made my hands hurt. I swung my body and moved across the area with ease. With my small size it made things like this fairly easy which was nice. I swung to the ending platform. My hands were a bit red from irritation but other than that they seemed to be fine. I looked around to see what else I could do to keep up practicing. I didn't want to give away too many skills so I decided to go to the one I hated working on the most. I picked up a quiver full of arrows and a long silver bow. It is elegant and small. Perfect for my small self. I walked to the platform where no one stood. I guess no one was interested in the bow this year.

"Ok, shot stack, let's see how your aim is on this one."

I turned to Borris and winked at him and Egger, Thia had her arms crossed and looked unhappy to come over.

"You know Borris."

I grabbed an arrow from the quiver and strung it in the bow. I rose it to the proper position.

"This is my worst weapon."

I let go of the arrow. It soared through the air landing off center towards where the stomach would be. Still a deadly shot but far from perfect.

"That is your worst weapon."

I turned to look at Egger who had an eyebrow rose. I nodded with an amused look.

"I may be 13 but I have been training for a while. There is a reason why no one volunteered for me."

I grabbed another arrow and notched it in my bow. I raised my arms in the proper position.

"Also Egger, the more people underestimate you the more shock it is and impressive when you are good at something."

I shot the arrow and it landed in the upper right shoulder. I swore under my breath and grabbed another arrow. Why can't I figure out this damn thing!?

"You may not be the best at it, but you could still cause some damage."

I ignored Egger's comment and raised the bow again. I pulled back further on the string and shot. You could hear it whistle through the air and landed where the throat was located. I glared at the stupid thing as it still has yet to hit the center. I rolled my eyes and walked back to the rack replacing the weapon there.
