Pramheda the II (The 100)

𝐱𝐱𝐢𝐱: it all comes full circle

[Madisons POV]

Whirring. An engine whirring.

Gunshots. They're being fired.

My eyes were closed, and I had no idea what was happening, but all I did know was that I was still alive since I was hearing all these things.

The prisoners still hadn't shot at us.

"Madison, Octavia, get in!" I hear a voice shout and when I turn I find the rover, in it Echo, Murphy, Emori...and Madi, my usurper.

"Yeah! Somebody call for a rescue?" Murphy yells.

"Hurry up! We're not staying," Emori tells us and Octavia and I get up and run into the rover, while Bellamy and Indra get Gaia inside too.

Murphy, is holding a sonic cannon trying to use it, but it starts to malfunction, "I thought you said you fixed this thing," he directs towards Emori.

"I obviously didn't. It's gonna blow. Throw it now!" she orders and when he throws it, it causes the biggest explosion ever, but thankfully we had already driven off by now.

Octavia and I look at each other, as we sit in the back of the rover. Both of us are in shock that we just did that. It's not an awkward silence, but it's also not a calm one.

I avert my stare towards the front of the rover, and through the rear view mirror I find the 12 year old usurper staring at me. I look at her through the mirror too and give her a slight smile and a nod.

There was no reason for me to be mad at her, she didn't want to become the commander, Bellamy, Indra, and Gaia made her do it by convincing her that it was the only way to save everyone.

She smiles and looks down, as if that reassurance I gave her just made her day.

We arrive at where Wonkru had set up camp, and get out of the rover one by one. The sight in front of me breaks my heart, groans and moans of pain are echoing through each tent, and people look like death because of the lack of food and water.

We had to go back through that gorge.

"Monty, where's Jackson? She's lost a lot of blood," Bellamy says as he carries Gaia, into the medical tent with Jackson in it. Indra is quick to follow, but Octavia quickly stops her.

"She'll be okay now," Octavia tries to assure the worried mother.

"Will she? Look around you. Do you see signs of hope here?" Indra snaps before following her daughter into the medical tent, as Bellamy exits it.

Madi then comes out of the rover, and it seems as if a sudden silence has erupted through Wonkru.

They're in awe.

Small whispers of 'heda' are heard from each direction and I look down towards my feet feeling a tear fall onto my cheek. They never were like this to me. Maybe I really was unfit to become a commander given that I was dealing with my own trauma. Trauma being that I basically time traveled to the future, where I was alone.

"Heda don komba raun!" Brell states.

"What do I do?" Madi whispers towards Bellamy who was standing next to Echo after reuniting with her.

"Heda is going to save us all!" a flame believer mutters, and it creates even more tension through the atmosphere.

Octavia and I turn once that is said, and Octavia starts walking towards Madi unsheathing her sword. I quickly jog to catch up to her afraid she was genuinely going to murder the young girl.
