Chapter 04

Eliana's POV
Long story short we, and by 'we' I mean Demetri, Felix, Alice, Edward, Jane, me, and Bella, were headed through the clock tower to meet with the Volturi kings.

I was closer to the back with Felix and Demetri behind me and the Cullen duo with my sister in front of me. We were led throughout the castle y Jane.

I walked slowly as I was admiring the architecture of the castle "È tutto così bello" (It's all so beautiful) I murmured. The Volturi trio looked at me with surprised expressions, the Cullen duo looked at me with soft eyes, while Bella scowled and grabbed my upper arm harshly and yanked me closer to the front no doubt leaving more bruises on my arm. "Bella!" Alice and Edward scolded her before Edward pried her fingers off my arm.

Felix stepped forward and gently pulled me away from them making Bella recoiled and huddled into Edward's side. Felix sandwiched me between him and Demetri making it difficult for her to try and grab me again. I rubbed my upper arm when Demetri addressed me "Parli italiano?" (You speak Italian?) questioned Demetri making me look up at him and say "Si sono affascinato dall'Italia da molto tempo quindi ho deciso di imparare la lingua, insieme al francese e allo spagnolo" (Yes. I've been fascinated with Italy for a long time so I decided to learn the language, along with French and Spanish). He smiled then nodded, and we continued on our way.

We stepped in to an elevator, and squished together. Bella and I were between Alice and Edward as if for protection though Felix and Demetri seemed very nice, and Jane may have held a dominant aura I couldn't help but see her as a little sister. She was only 14 and she seemed angry at the world but also hurt as if someone made her decision to be a monster for her and she was never given a chance.

My heart ached for this girl in front of me and I desperately wanted to wrap her in my arms and protect her for the horrible things in this world. Edward sent me a disapproving look as if he could read my mind, but he couldn't I already tested him, but I held back anyways. I would catch Jane would sending me looks over her shoulder and I would give her kind genuine smiles in return. Each smile made her snap her head forward and if vampires could blush she would right then.

We stepped off the elevator and walked into a waiting room with a secretary who immediately stood up and said "Gradito" (Welcome) I smiled and said "Grazie dell'ospitlità, signorina. Adoro il tuo vestito!" (Thank you for having us, miss. I love your dress!) she seemed surprised that I responded but smiled and said "Grazie, signorina!" (Thank you, miss) "Prego" (you're welcome). Bella scoffed at me and muttered "Attention seeking show off" but I ignored her.

We entered the double doors next to the secretary's desk, and entered the throne room. My attention was quickly captured by the three kings. Aro stood in front of his throne while other men were seated.

They're absolutely stunning the Cullens could never compete with these glorious beings. Aro reminded me of a gender bent Snow White with bright apple red eyes he appeared to be around 22-25 years of age, Caius made me think of a snowflake with hints of gold in his platinum blonde long hair and his ruby eyes glared at us as we entered he looked around 19-22. Marcus appeared to be the oldest between 25-28 his wavy brown hair reminded me of the fuzzy blanket Bella had as a child and would refuse to share, despite it belonging to Charlie, that I desperately wanted to pet and bury my face in, both the blanket and Marcus's hair, and his eyes were a dark maroon almost black color. Marcus seemed so sad and I felt the urge to wrap him in my arms and whisper sweet nothings to him.

What the hell is going on?! I've never felt attracted to anyone before even in my past life! So why now? And why them?! But I can't deny it. I've only seen them once and already I feel at so home.

Aro approached us and said in a voice that nearly made my knees buckle "Ah! So Bella is alive and well after all! I do love a happy ending, they are so rare" he then grabbed Edward's hand making Bella gasp dramatically as he used his gift on Edward.
