Standing in silence , a man dressed in a black and purple kimono . His eyes closed waiting for his opponent to approach him. When he felt the rumbling around him, he opened his eyes .
???: The fighting is getting more and more intense .... This is truly worthy of being called the " Endgame " ..... The Dark Pillar ... Yamato... Akaza had his chance to kill him ... now .... It is mine ...
He began to make his way towards the battles. Killing any and all slayers he meets along the way.
???: The slayers of this generation are pathetic ... they haven't even awoken the mark.... Let alone wield a crimson blade. Seems like the only ones that has my interest is the Dark Pillar..
< Nero Vs Akaza>
As their battle shook the fortress , Nero noticed several of Akaza's injuries were healing slower and slower .
Nero( Thoughts) : Is his injuries , no longer recovering ?
Yamato: The girl's power is hindering his regeneration now ! Go for the kill!
Nero gripped Yamato as he vanished and reappeared infront of Akaza . He swung his sword toward his neck , just as the blade made contact with his neck . Akaza grabbed the blade and back handed Nero , sending him crashing through several walls . As the areas between the two closed off . Nero now covered in a pile of rubble , his hand just inches away for Yamato.
Akaza: I win....
He turns away and vanished leaving Nero behind . .. The blade on Yamato gave a faint glow .
<Kanae, Shinobu and Daki>
Kanae: ( Gasp) !
Both Shinobu and Daki noticed her sudden expression as they were running around looking for Kibutsuji.
Shinobu: Sister is everything okay ?
Kanae ignored her sister and turned down one of the many corridors . She vanished instantly ..
Kanae( Thought): I don't like this feeling ! Not one bit! )
Shinobu and Daki tired to follow her so they aren't separated in the fortress.
Daki(Thoughts): Damn these two are fast ! I have to try to keep up!
As the three kept running through several corridors , they arrived on the battlefield between Akaza and Nero . She quickly looks around the scared corridor , she was about to walk away when out of the corner of her eye , she noticed a faint blue light . When she looked she found Yamato , she quickly approached it . she kneeled down , picking up the blade when a voice coming from Yamato echoed through her head.
Yamato: He's buried underneath the rubble...
Once she heard that , she dropped the sword and began to move several pieces of wood out . Once she removed enough pieces , she found him with several bruises and gashes across his body. A scar was over his left eye , she quickly rips a piece of haori and applies it to his eye .
Kanae: Come on Nero... Wake up.
As she kept trying to wake him up . A figure appeared behind her , she quickly turned around grabbing Yamato and swinging it at the figure. The figure held his sword up blocking her attack .
???: I recognize you ... you were fighting the upper two ....
Kanae's eyes widened at who she is currently fighting against. The words " Upper " and "One" were seen in his eyes , she heard his name once before ... Kokushibo . The upper demon looked at her , then at Nero .
