"It's a brilliant idea," she thinks.
While the animator does his thing,
"I can go to Turkey to learn the language,"
(To whom, I have no idea) she winks.
On the plane she goes.
A six month trip,
Will she become fluent? Who knows.
She takes a language class,
She tries her best,
though she's not very fast.
At 6am she wakes up,
To run 6 miles of laps.
Training on her own for the 2019 marathon.
Weekends she and her friends lay on a park lawn.
She gets some food poisoning and loses some weight.
The food here in Turkey is certainly not fake.
She struggles to learn in a country
Where many want to learn English.
Reaching level two is difficult.
Her classes are extinguished.
Bawling on the bathroom floor
Spiky has failed her exam.
At some point she opens the door.
This is her chance to learn
The way she wants to.
She makes note cards, and not just a few.
She covers the walls of her bedroom.
A text message from her animator,
"I can't do this anymore, sorry.
Talk to you later."
