Avery took the key from Mr. Abdel and together, we walked to our room. Both of us shocked as to how loaded Samantha's father was for letting us stay at his expense.
The hallways were crowed with girls, trying to find their rooms. The few, who have made themselves comfortable in their rooms, were squealing excitedly.
Avery unlocked the door of our room and we both entered inside. I found the light switch and flicked on it.
The room flooded in light. The walls were beige with a white ceiling and it was quite big. I walked inside and placed my bag on the brown couch, near the bed. Avery, on the other hand, threw herself on the king size bed in the centre of the room and let out a small squeal of joy. Her bag was abandoned near the door.
Feeling as though the bed was calling my name, I took off my shoes and plopped on the bed beside her.
"I missed this so much." She cried into the pillow.
I giggled softly.
"Me too."
I positioned my pillow under my head and placed my head on it. The soft mattress and the pillows engulfed me in their paradise. I felt my eyes struggled to keep up.
I pulled the covers over me, ready to call it a day. Avery did the same, she kicked off her shoes and crawled into the covers beside me.
My limbs gave out as soon as they felt the soft sheets under them. Soon the two of us fell asleep, listening to the soft rumble of the people outside.
I must have slept for an hour or two when I heard my phone going off.
I shifted on the bed and heard Avery groan, showering the source of noise with profanities. Honesty, if it wasn't my phone I would have banged it against the wall too.
I picked up the call and snapped, without looking at the caller Id.
"Hello!"
"Hi...?" I heard the amused smile behind his tone.
My head jerked up at the voice.
Oh shoot!
"Oh. Sorry babe. I was sleeping." I admitted, sheepishly.
I heard Alex chuckle.
I guess the laugh made up for interrupting my sleep.
"Why did you call though?" I asked as I sat up on the bed.
"Do you want to grab dinner together?" He asked and I felt the corners of my lips pull up.
I glanced at the clock to see that it was almost dinner time.
"Yeah sure!" I replied, excited to meet him.
"Alright. Meet me downstairs in 10."
"Okay." I nodded and hung up.
I rubbed the sleep off my eyes and stretched out my arms. My partner was still fast asleep beside me with her black hair spread over the pillow.
I gently pulled the covers off me and made my way towards the bathroom.
I opened the bathroom door and my eyes fell on the huge bathtub at the end of the bathroom. The theme of the bathroom was white and silver with little aspects of gold and it had all the basic facilities like a toilet seat, a sink and a shower head etc.
I didn't have much time so I decided to use the bathtub after dinner.
Although relaxing in a bathtub with bubbles around me seemed like the best option.
