chapter eleven

A couple of days after the girls came by,i was at the the canteen attending to customer when i felt a hand touch me lightly and then i felt shivers run down my spine,i jump and spun around to find myself looking at Scott.

oh dear ! its been two days already and i'd totally forgottten about scott and the guys coming over, i looked behind him and sure enough the guys were standing there. i smiled politely and said hi to them to answered in a friendly manner except Gilams winked at me and made me blush, i suddenly felt very self concious and discreetely looked down at my cloth thankful the simple blue jean and red polo is presentable i thought to myself.

i ushered them to their seat and told them to get comfortable cause i need my mums permission to hand with them

mummy! mummy! i called when i got into the kitchen

ocha what is it ? she asked

errmm...my friends are around,i want to ask if i can sit with them and keep them company

no problem she answered but...usually sharon and the girls will always come to greet me when they come around...

errmm...shron is not here yet its her just her brother and his friends but shes on her way i said as i left the kitchen

On my way back i just kept praying that sharon is truly on her way.

When i got back i pulled a chair and sat with the guys,Scott smiled at me softly and asked how have you been?

i've been good i smiled back,you ?

well considering I'm sitting with you now how i've been doesn't matter but trust when i say i feel wonderful right now he smirked and i couldnt help but smile shyly

the guys watched the exchange in amusements and Gilams and rubbed his palms together saying this should be fun

where's sharon? hope she's coming ooh cause i told my mum sharon she is on her way i muttered

mummys girls she's coming stephen said

she stopped to buy ice cream Scott added

Gilams opened his mouth to say something but was interuppted by sharon and the girls, they came in like a tornado and had the entire store looking at them,she stopped at our table and bent to drop a kiss on Gilams's cheek shocking the entire store into silence, i mean this is Nigeria you just don't do stuffs like that in broad daylight,Gilams shifted in his seat uncomfortably and i almost laughed at the sight,she walked over to me and hugged me like she hasn't seen me in years,i cocked my brows at her and she just laughed obviously loving the attention,well that sharon for you always a force to reckon with. i looked at Scott to see his reaction but he just shook his head and said she's crazy just crazy and we all burst out laughing

we had such fun that day at my mums canteen and after then we all bonded and became really close but somehow the relationship i have with scott is quite different from others,sharon says we have a soft spot for each other but its way more than that what i feel for him is so intense and it feels forbidden,not because its wrong but because he is sharon's brother and i'm not sure i should be thinking of things like that at this age.
As for scott he doesnt hide what he feels for me,he calls me his heart and thats just plane embarrasing.well I'm excited cause we are having a sleep over at their house tomorrow and i can't wait..

we all sat on the floor in sharon's house playing ludo and monopoly,when scott stood up saying i'm hungry ooo,what do you guys want to eat? anything Gilams and femi said.

ocha please come with me lets go and get somethings

okay i stood up

we walked out into the street and he took my hand swinging it and lemme tell you i felt such bliss .

chimamanda he started in a serious tone and i looked up at him,i have been trying to keep this..this feeling but when i get close to you its almost like i can't control it,i know what i feel for you and putting it into words might scare you and i don't want that,i know you feel what i feel and i shook my head panicked at his confession...ocha he said softly you do please don't deny it,he ran his hand over my cheek and i shivered basking in the most pleasant feeling ever.

what do you want from me? i whispered

i want you,i want to be more than friends,i want to marry you one day,i want everything life has to offer with you,i want to you to be mine....he whispered in one breath..
