chapter 5

Scott's POV

Its been two weeks since I first visited the canteen and it has become part of my routine to visit there everyday, I go there not for the food but to catch a glimpse at the beautiful girl,and to talk to her at every opportunity, I still don't know her name but I'm getting there.

She's always so polite to me and she has this shy smile when I address her and its gives me great satisfaction knowing that smile is reserved for me.

Sometimes I'm stunned by the force of jealousy I feel and the overwhelming need to protect when I see her talking to guys, I want her for myself and I don't want to share her attention I thought

Dude get a hold of yourself,she's not even giving you the time of the day a voice said to me and I realised I just have to be patient

About a week later,three weeks since I first saw her I went into the canteen smiling in anticipation of seeing my heart

Yeah she is heart,she's all I think of so she has to be my heart.

I settle in a corner at the canteen,waiting for her to make an appearance but I didn't see her.

Twenty minutes  passed and still I don't see her, finally another woman came to my table and said customer what would you like?

Where is the fair girl ? I asked

The later looked at me strangely obviously that wasn't the answer she expected.

I don't understand you,sir she said

There's this fair girl,she's very light I don't know her name but I would appreciate it if she attends to me I said

She raised one eyebrow in amusement and said she's not around you'll just have to manage me she said with a small laugh.

Wow I wasn't expecting to hear that and I was shocked at the disappointed I felt on hearing I wouldn't see her today.

What's her name I asked the woman

Her name is ocha she replied

Why is she not here today? I demanded

Her eyebrow shot up at the tone of my voice and she had frowned at me

She has exams she said sweetly and she smiled maliciously when she said she won't be here for the next month.

I felt like I'd been punched,the thought of not seeing her for a month is doing crazy things to my emotions. The lady asked what I would like again and I told her whatever she would recommend she turned and left my table abruptly.

I had enough time to recover before she came back with my meal and I gave her my most charming smile she was obviously dazzled by it and she blink in confusion.

I'm sorry for my reaction earlier I said

Its just that I like her so much, I come here everyday because of her and I'm disappointed not to find her here I continued.

She smiled and said its OK

She stretched her hand and said I'm Cecilia but you can call SiSi, I'm ocha's sister she continued.

Nice meeting you I returned.

I'm really sorry I said again

I understand she replied

Take I drink on my account I told her,she shook her head and said thank you.

I insist,If you don't take it I'll think you haven't accepted my apology.

Alright thank you.

She came back about thirty minutes later to clear my plates and she said thanks for the drink.

Its nothing I replied

Can I ask you a question? I asked

Sure she replied

What school does ocha attend? I asked

She looked at me like she was trying to read my mind and I could tell she's skeptical about giving me an answer

I shouldn't tell you cause right now ocha shouldn't be distracted by anyone but I'll tell you If you promise not to bother her she said

I promise I replied

Royale academy she said and she left before I had the chance to say thanks.

I'm so happy cause my little sister Sandra attends royale academy and she's also writing her final exams she probably even knows ocha I reasoned.

I was so excited when I got home the same time with Sandra.

Whats making you happy?she asked

You, I grinned foolishly

What did I do? She laughed

I'm just happy you attend royals academy

What? She hissed, obviously she wasn't expecting to hear that.

I kept smiling at her and she said Scott folawiyo what's your problem? she asked in a motherly tone.

Okay okay,I'll tell you

I'm waiting she replied

Do you know ocha? I asked

What? She asked looking confused

Do you know anyone called ocha in your school? I tried again

Oh yes she smiled,I know ocha now she's my friend

Really? I asked

Yeah, why are you asking?

I met her at her mum's canteen and I think I'm falling hard for her

Really,that's so cool but how come ocha didn't mention knowing you she said

That's cause she doesn't know me to her I'm just another customer.

Ohh...she said

I need help oh,I like her so much

She clapped her hand excitedly and jumped I have an idea she said
