It was a quiet and calm night at Dave's house, Dave's work was done and he was finally able to go home and see his husband and son. (Dave and Bambi are married here yessir)
As expected, Dave was extremely tired. He took out the keys to his house and opened the door, to seconds later being greeted with a big hug from Tristan.
"dad! We missed you!" said the little boy excited to see his father. Dave returned the hug that after a few minutes ended "I missed you too, I couldn't wait to see you" replied Dave with a tired smile. "Hey Davey, it was a busy day, wasn't it?" asked Bambi approaching Dave to kiss him seconds later “oh, yes it was. I'm happy to see you” replied Dave looking at Bambi with a warm smile.
"Ugh... right, I have to check my students' homework..." Dave said holding his head and letting out a sigh. Bambi grabbed Dave's hands and then kissed him on the forehead "Please Davey, rest, take a day off" Bambi said as he caressed his beloved's cheek
"but..." Dave was saying but was interrupted a few seconds later "no buts" replied Bambi, moving Dave's wheelchair into the living room and helping him sit on the couch "stay here, I'll make you a cup of tea ” Bambi said before going to prepare it. Dave meanwhile just got comfortable on the couch, to be honest, he feels very happy to finally have a family. “I'll be in my room if you need me, I have to finish some things” Tristan said walking up the stairs to his room "ok honey!" replied Dave
a few minutes later Bambi arrived with the Tea "here you go, darling" Bambi said and then sat down next to his partner, Dave carefully took the cup of tea "heh, thank you very much Bamb" Dave replied smiling sweetly, giving Bambi a kiss on the head
While Dave was drinking his tea, Bambi had started reading a book next to him. When Dave finished his tea, he put the empty cup on the small table that was there. Dave, out of curiosity, started reading with Bambi.
an hour passed and they had already finished the book. Bambi, who was reading for Dave, hadn't realized that his partner was already asleep, having fallen asleep on his (non-existent) shoulder. Bambi, noticing the face of his sleeping boyfriend, let out a giggle.
"Let's go to sleep. you deserve it, I'm proud of you" said Bambi while caressing Dave's face. moments later, Bambi carried Dave to his room, made him lie on the bed and covered him up. Bambi lay down next to him and started stroking Dave's hair.
"B-bambi...." Dave said sleepily "hm?" Bambi asked curious "..I love you..so much.." Dave said and went back to sleep
Hearing that, Bambi felt extremely happy, and felt how he began to blush "I love you more, honey" Bambi replied with a warm smile and kissed him on the head. They both hugged each other and slept peacefully.
