Chapter 13

October 2, 2032 - Downtown Canterbury, UK

     DAVID LOEL was chilling in the abandoned storefront. He reached into his pocket and looked at the wedding photo of him and Jessica from the future (well his future. The event really happened ten years ago to people here in Josiah's time). However, as soon as Nigel left, Vengeance pounced. He sprung up behind David, knocked him out, and dragged him out of sight by the wrists.

     As soon as David wasn't visible, three green portals opened and out of each came an agent. Agents Deumentime and Jarodson came, followed by Bill Ranton who Nigel went through with. "David? C'mon let's go!" Nigel said, looking around. Vengeance was hidden in a closet with David bound up with rope and a bag on his head. He could hear the footsteps of the four walking around looking for David. When he heard the footsteps were fainter, He slowly opened the closet door and snuck out the back. Nigel almost caught them, but Vengeance and David were able to remain hidden.

     KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK! There was a knock on the door. Nigel looked and saw that Josiah was back. He opened the door and let him in. "Got the gang back together I see?" Josiah asked, no longer needing his cane. "Yeah, we needed to run one more errand," Nigel replied. "Where's David?" Josiah asked. "We don't know," Christian replied, "Do you?" "No, I just got here," Josiah stated. "Let's look through history books and the footage. We'll find him eventually," Nigel suggested, "I'll go look through time." Nigel then left through a green portal.

April 24, 1643 - Britain

     David woke up tied to a chair. He looked around and noticed he was in a cave. In it was a generator and a car that looked exactly to that of the one in the footage Nigel recovered. There were also snacks, weapons, and other essentials. He moved his hands around, trying to break free when he felt another person's hands. He strained to look behind him and saw that it was Jessica. She was asleep. "Hey," David whispered, "Psst. Hey." Eventually, Jessica woke up. Struggling to contain her excitement, she said in a loud whisper, "David! You're here!" "Yes, and I too have been kidnapped. Uh, I think I'm gonna get monologued to soon." Jessica was confused until Vengeance came in. Anthony and Fanta took his flank.

December 7, 2020 - TTA HQ outside of London, UK

     Nigel portalled in (this time stealthily) on the roof directly above Winston Churchill II's office. He snuck over to the balcony, but as SOON as he touched the balcony floor. The alarm went off. Oh crap, not again, Nigel thought. Churchill went out onto the balcony and there was Nigel. "YOU!" Churchill yelled, "You won't take David!" Agents swarmed the area and Nigel knew he couldn't stay. "I fear he's already been taken," Nigel said, escaping through a green portal.
