April 20, 1643 - Britain

AGENT THOMAS Pride was sitting at the meeting table while Oliver Cromwell, who was across from him, was discussing the plan for their next upcoming battle. For Agent Pride, It was no normal meeting. Tonight, his mission was finally about to be completed. He leaned over to a soldier next to him and asked, "Mind coming with me for a moment?" The soldier was confused. "What for? Are we not supposed to attend the meeting?" came the soldier's reply. Agent Pride came back with, "I know, but it is important if you want the meeting to go on." The soldier stopped slouching and said quietly, "Awaiting Orders, commander."

The two walked out of the tent lit by lantern. Agent Pride explained his troubles to the soldier, and they scouted the surroundings of the tent. Suddenly, the soldier was swiped to the side. His scream alerted Agent Pride of the situation and he went after him. He circled the tent to see the soldier wasn't there. He investigated further from the tent. After a few minutes, the soldier's now fainter screams went silent, and the crickets became the dominating sound again.

He turned and saw a shadowy figure run towards the tent. Agent Pride ran at top speed towards him. He drew his sword and lunged onto the shadow figure. A knife fell out of his hand. Oliver Cromwell walked out of the tent and came over to Pride. "Does there be an abnormality?" Cromwell asked. Agent Pride pulled the sword out of the assassin, "Not anymore. I do not know if the soldier who accompanied me is alive, though." "Is something going on?" Cromwell inquired. Agent Pride just walked past and said, "Nothing much, just saved your life." They went back inside, and Cromwell continued the meeting.

BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ! David Loel woke up reluctantly to his alarm clock. He sat up and had a good stretch before getting out of bed. He dragged his feet from his bedroom to his kitchen where his coffee maker was waiting for him. He got his coffee made and sat down at the kitchen table. The remote was on the table, so he clicked it on. The morning news brought nothing important, so he clicked over a couple of channels to a search query and he typed in the code: U5A1T7A. It popped up a special, international TV channel that had been under the radar since it began. It had the agency's logo on it. He saw some news of two Agents disappearing and a video clip being found.

He got a notification on his phone. It was a text from his friend Jebediah who was hosting an early Christmas party that night. He responded to it with a yes.

He suddenly got another notification on his phone. The notification said that he is supposed to come in to work today. He set the coffee down and reluctantly got his uniform on. It's your standard suit and tie, but it can morph into any outfit you want, provided that it has the TTA's pin on its lapel. He put on his shades and grabbed his coffee and his keys and he made his way out the door.

Right before he opened the door, the doorbell rang. He jumped inside his skin so badly, he almost spilled his coffee on himself. He looked through the peephole and saw his neighbor, Jessica Flint, whose brother is a receptionist for TTA in London. She likes pineapple on pizza, and she's onto David's case. She is nice though, but with some attitude. David composed himself and got ready to do the "on my way to the office" play. His suit hid the TTA pin. He opened the door and he immediately felt the breeze on his face. Jessica greeted him saying, "Hey there, David. You on your way to the Time Travel Agency?" David Loel cleared his throat and just said, "I'm going to the office. What Time Travel Agency?"

Jessica smirked, "The one stationed in D.C. in these United States I wasn't born in." "No," David corrected, "I actually have to go to London to get to the- uh." David realized he gave himself away. After a few seconds of staggering on his words, he gave up. "The agency. Time Travel Agency," he sighed, defeated. Jessica grew giddy that she was right. David went toward his car, a white Hyundai Ioniq. Before he went into his vehicle, he looked back at Jessica, who hadn't left his porch. He inserted his key and cranked the car, and the car started. He looked at his porch and Jessica was gone. He shrugged it off and pulled out of the driveway.
