Proverbs 18:24 A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

" The best graduating student, class of 2021 department of Accounting with a GPA of 5.0 is Coker Wuraoluwa" A fair woman shouted into a microphone, Everyone in the hall was clapping and cheering, looking around for the lucky student.

Stephanie was hugging me repeatedly giving me almost no space to breathe. Dieko, Bisola, Kiitan and some of our course mates were cheering me and looking at me in awe. I stood up immediately walking as fast as I could to the stage with everyone saying congratulations, congratulations.

I stretched my hand to shake the Vice chancellor when I felt something crawling on my skin, precisely my face. Instinctively, I slapped my cheek where I felt something crawling.

" Wura, wake up" I heard Hannah's voice. I can't be a dream right, it feels so real.

" Let's sprinkle water on her face" I heard Stephanie say again confirming my fears. I was dreaming, disappointment is an understatement of what I feel right now.

I opened my eyes little by little to see Stephanie and Hannah staring at me few inches away from my face.

I hissed and turned to the other side of the bed.

Stephanie smacked my back and I yelped as I rubbed the spot.

" Are you okay?" I screamed almost at the point of tears and brought my duvet up to my head.

" We are making a video. Infact, your Dad will soon be watching you now" Hannah said and I stood up abruptly. Truly, Hannah was making a video.

Then it clicked, My birthday

I screamed and stood up abruptly from my bed.

" Sleepy head, you almost spolit our surprise but Happy 20th birthday Wuraoluwa" Stephanie said screaming the last part.

I squealed

" I'm an adult now. Hannah I'm no longer your mate and Stephanie we are both 20 now" I boasted excitedly, sticking out my tongue to them.

" You are not an adult yet, you are a young adult" Hannah responded and I laughed

I am happy, I can't believe I forgot for some few minutes that today is my birthday, the 20th birthday I have been anticipating since we started this year. Hannah stretched the phone she was holding to me and mouthed your Daddy

" Daddy" I squealed happily

" My eyes are getting teary" Daddy said

" Why?" I asked confused

" Don't mind me, maybe I'm getting old but when did I just hold you in my arms. You were so small and delicate that I was even scared of holding you in my arms and now, see how big you have grown" My Dad said affectionately

" I'm sure I have told you this many times but let me remind you again. In 2001 when your Mum and I was waiting on God for you. God told me specifically that he was going to give me a precious child, you. When I first saw you, your beauty struck me. We didn't know your gender before you were born. But our guess was a boy because we were praying for a boy. Immediately I saw you, God placed a sentence in my heart I have given you a Princess, a special Princess. Immediately I gladly accepted it and thanked God for giving small me a special Princess" Dad continued

" With that, we discarded all the names we were planning to name you if peradventure you were a girl. God told us you were special so we wanted a special name too. We decided to name you a princess name but during your naming ceremony your Mum whispered in my ear that we should name you Wuraoluwa. Wuraoluwa was perfect and we named our special princess, Wuraoluwa. Wuraoluwa, my love for you is as wide as the Atlantic Ocean but God's love for you is infinitely. Happy birthday to you, God's golden Princess" Daddy ended
