I did not sleep much that night after getting food with Aunt May and Peter; my mind was just all over the place trying to figure out everything that happened. All I could think about was what happened at Peter's and how he acted after it. All these questions were rushing through my mind, and they would not leave. Was Peter just playing dumb and he knew what happened as well or was it all in my head and nothing happened? It had been a couple of days since that, and I decided to go to school early so that I could get some stuff done for school. Peter hadn't been in since that day and I was starting to get worried that I had something to do with it.

My first two classes were weird, Kate would not sit with me and was sitting with Flash and would ignore me and I did not know why. Now I was walking into my third class of the day, which was science, the teacher was giving us the class to plan out our project and because Peter was not in, I was left to do it by myself. I felt so lonely, with Kate ignoring me and Peter not being in. My phone buzzed and I took it out to see a text message from MJ, I was happy to have MJ back in my life.

MJ: Hey, Are you free next class

Me: Yes, why

MJ: Want to get breakfast with me

Me: Sure, sounds fun

MJ: Great, I will meet you outside your class

For the rest of the class, I just focus on doing research for what the project could be. I saw something about how different music influences how planets grow. I love music and it would be fun to mix them both, now I just need to get Peter on bored if he ever came in. The bell rang to tell us that class was over, and it was time to meet up with MJ and go get some food.,

I walked out of the class to see MJ waiting for me, I walked over to her, but I was pulled to the side by Kate. "What are you doing" she demanded, "oh, now you want to talk to me, after ignoring me all morning," I asked. She does not say anything but looks over at MJ, Now I knew what she was talking about. "What? We are friends again and she does not ignore me all morning for no reason" I say, and it was like I had just stabbed her in the back with the look that she gave me. "Well do I need to remind you why we hanging around with her," she says giving me a look of anger. "I was never told why we stopped, And I don't recall having to ask you for permission about who I can be friends with" I comment. I was getting a bit sick of HOW controlling Kate could be sometimes, but I would always push it to the side because we have been friends forever. Why does she think she gets to ignore me and then tell me what I can do.

"Well, she hurt me and that's all you need to know. Plus, she ignored you when your mother died, what kind of a friend does that" she explains. "Well, she apologized for it, and you did the same thing today," I told her, which she did not like because she gave me one of her famous "You've pissed me off" faces and just walked off. I walked over to MJ, and she gave me a confused look. "You don't even want to know," I say to her and link our arms together. We headed towards the exit of the school, but we were stopped by someone calling MJ's name. We turned around to see Liz standing at the end of the corridor.

"MJ, did you forget that we have a decathlon meeting," she says waving at her to come over, I hear her sign loud and pull me towards her. "If I have to suffer, so do you," she says as we get closer to Liz. "Oh, hey Y/N are you joining because we are down two people now," she says. I was about to reject her offer, but MJ hit me on the side before I could say anything. "He would love to," she says with a fake smile, and Liz smiles at me before walking into the room. MJ was about to walk in after her but then I pulled her back in. "what was that for" I ask. "Please Y/N, everyone in this club is so boring and you're smart so it will help us after Peter leaves," she says. "Wait, Peter dropped out," I said, He was acting weird lately and now was dropping out of all his clubs.
