This was it, it was the day of Homecoming, and I was practicing with the band to make sure that everything went smoothly tonight. Also, MJ had threatened them that if it did not, they would not want to find out what would happen, and it also scared me as well. We had just finished as Liz had walked in to do her finally run off everything before she went home to get ready for the event. "Are you sure that I can't sit in for one last sound check" she asked, "You know I want it to be a surprise" I said. "Uh fine, but only cause it I trust you" she says before vanishing into the back, I mean I could not have her know what I was going to do, I know she would not know it was for Peter but in case she did I could vanish into the crowd before she could attack me.

"Thanks everyone again for doing this" I say before grabbing my things and leaving the hall, As I walk out, I see Ned and Peter talking to each other. They looked at me and I waved but went back to talking to each other. I was hoping this would work because I needed him back in my life. Before being friends with Peter was easy, I did not know what I was missing. And now I know that I was missing the most wonderful person, and I hated that I ruined it, but that was what tomorrow was about. And if it went bad, I prayed that the ground would open and take me to hell because anything they could do would be less painful.

Speaking of hell, Kate had not bothered me since I told her that if she did anything, I would ruin her life. Just then I hear my name being called from behind me and I see Nathan and Betty, "So my dad will pick you and MJ at seven" he says. "Yeah, as you told me for the hundred time" I say rolling my eyes, "I'm just saying because Betty wants to be here before everyone" he says. "I know, and I promise I will be ready" I say as I walk away before being reminded again.

I finished at my locker, and then I could feel someone stand behind me, turn around to see Kate and sigh loudly. "But I didn't say your name 3 times in a mirror" I say and she just sighs, "Don't worry, I'm here to hand you these" and she hands me my two-song books. "I would say thank you but you the one who took them" I say, and she just begin to walk away, "Hey Kate" I say, and she turns around, "It's not too late to change, and maybe you'll find the right people like I have" I say, and she gives me a weak smile at me before disappearing.

"What was that about" MJ says behind me that scares me, "oh, she was just giving me these back" I say showing her the books in my hand. We begin to head towards the exit, "Oh before I forgive don't forget to be ready at seven" I say. MJ just rolled her eyes, and I could not help but laugh, "If Betty or Nathan tell me that one more time ... I swear" she says. "I Know, so my father and I will be at yours for haft six for picture" I say, "Good because my mother won't stop about them" she says and then we go in a separate way.

As I walked into my home, a bright light flashed in front of me, and I went blind for a second. "What the fuck" I say rubbing my eyes because they are sore. "Y/N LAGUEGE" I hear my father shout from in front of me, "I'm sorry but you nearly blinded me" I say, my vision finally coming back after going black for a bit. "Sorry it's just your first dance, and if your mother was here, she would kill me for not having pictures" he says.

"Ok but turn the flash off please before you blind more people" I say before walking upstairs, "I brought your favorite food from the restaurant, it is on the table in the kitchen. And I quickly turned around and head straight for the kitchen to have the food, the whole time my father just get prepping me for tonight. "I just wish I could be there to see it" he says, "well there will be other times" I say as I finish eating and head upstairs to get ready for the dances.

As I walk into my room, I see my suit hanging up on my closet door. It was a black suit with a turquoise tie. MJ, being my best friend, decided we should wear it because it was my mother's favorite color and we wanted to thank her for everything. I walked over to the suit, took it down, put it on my bed and went for a shower, after I went back to my room and I started to put the suit on, but I needed help to put my tie on because I did not know how to. But my dad said he would do it, but he did somewhere to put the camera so that he could make it take picture as he did it. "Your mother would be proud of the man you have become" he says, and I could see that he was begun to cry. "Are you crying" I asked, "No, the aftershave you're wearing is really strong," he says, and I tell him that I was not wearing any.
