I just felt emotionally and physically tired when I finally got home, luckily my father was already asleep when I got home so I was not questioned why I was home so early. I walked over to the desk that was in my room and got all the proof that was on my drive and put it onto my laptop and emailed it to Nathan so that he starts with the video. All I wanted to do now was go to bed and never get out of bed, so I walked over to my bed, crawled into it, and stared up at the celling thinking about everything. Luckily, it did not take me long to fall asleep and soon I was knocked out asleep in my bed.
Everything was dark until I was now standing outside my childhood bedroom, the reason I knew this was because when I was little, I loved Monster Inc. So, my bedroom door was like Boo's door but was blue, it was weird to see it because it was removed the week after my mother death because it reminded me of her. I could hear laughing from inside the room, as I opened the door to see my childhood bedroom. But there was a little child in the room running around, then I realized that it was me when I was about 7 and it looked like I was looking for someone. "MARCO" the younger voice shouted, "POLO" I heard a voice call from the closet, and he ran over and opened to see my mother standing in the closet.
"I FOUND YOU MAMA" he says, and she grabs him and goes over to the bed, "Well now I have to tickle you" she says as she begins to tickle him. "Please, stop mama" he says in-between laughter, "Not until you say you love me" she says, "I love you mama" he says, and she stops. "I love you too my little Y/N" she says and then everything goes black. Until I heard shouting behind me and turned around and now, I was at the beach, it was the beach that we always went to when I was younger during the summer. "QUICK MAMA, HELP ME BURY DADA" I heard a boy shout and see that it was me again, and we were burying my father as he was asleep. He used to always fall asleep while watching the waves because he found it very calm because he was busy with his job.
But then he woke up, and saw what they were doing, "WOW, I go to sleep, and you do this to your father" he says in a joking angry tone. He then stands up and shakes off all the sand, "WAIT, TILL I GET BOTH OF YOUS" He shouts. My mother then grabs me, and I watch as my father chases after us and I watch as we all laugh and then it goes black again. And now I was at my front door in the hall of my house, it was empty and quiet but then my parents came down the stairs with a suitcase. "Y/N come say bye to your mother before she leaves" I heard my father shout, and then I realized what was happening. It was the day that my mother left for the business trip.
"Wait for me" I hear a younger me shout and watch him appear from the sitting room, I looked a bit older from the other memories, "I will miss you" I say to her pulling her into a hug. "Don't worry I'll be back before you know it," she says, "You promise," I say, and she nods. That was the only promise my mother ever broke but that was not her fault, I watched as she walked out the door and over to the taxi. Tears were now running down my cheeks. "Please don't go" I try to chase after her, but it will not let me leave the house. "PLEASE, STAY" I shouted, I hated that I could not do anything, Then I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around to see the younger version of me. "Don't worry, she said she will be back before we know it," he says, and then it all goes black.
I woke up to the noise from the kitchen, as if someone was moving everything, I looked over to the window to see that it was now bright outside, I was grateful that I had woken up for that nightmare, but something felt off. I do not know why but something felt different, something weird and I did not know what it was, I then heard another noise coming from the kitchen, so I decided that I was going to see what it was. As I was walking, I started to smell a smell that I haven't had in a long time.
As I get closer to the kitchen, I can hear a woman singing in the kitchen, but it was mumbled because of the loud music. I open the door to see a blonde hair woman standing at the oven singing, she then turns around with a smile on her face. "Mother" I said feeling the tears began to fill my eyes, and I ran over to her and hugged her, "I've missed you so much" I said in the hug, and I was fully in tears now. "Honey, you saw me last night when I tucked you in" she says with a giggle.
