It was silent, the air thick. "Answer me Moka..." "A human couldn't get in here..." Moka pulled away and I stared at her with stern cold eyes. I shouldn't have let my guard down with her. "Moka...I'm a human."
Her eyes widened in shock. "N-No...that's impossible! A human couldn't have gotten in here...the barrier..." I looked away. "The only reason I'm here is because of a mix-up..." She reached out for me but I turned around.
"Moka...you hate humans and I'm a human...if I stay here I will be killed. I have no choice but to leave...you were right though..." "Wh-What?" I could feel her eyes on me as I gripped my bag. "Humans are cruel creatures."
"Y-Y/n don't go..." I hated what I was about to do. Moka...I'm so sorry...my only friend. "Stay away from me! I don't need a vampire as a friend!" I ran into the forest tears rolling down my face.
I was used to being alone...I have been my whole life. Nobody ever looked at me, nobody ever noticed me and that was okay. I didn't need anyone else...not even my backstabbing parents! I remember that day...
It was raining and my parents were downstairs screaming at each other. My curiosity got the better of me and I had gone downstairs. I saw them yelling and fighting each other. "You cheating bitch!"
My father yelled, throwing a vase at my mom. I stood there shaking as they continued to fight all night. I was unable to move that entire time. The next day my parents were gone and the cops had told me they gave me up.
I was thrown into the system and into one abusive family to the next. Over time I had to learn how to put up walls and not get attached to people. I knew they'd just be ripped away from me...no matter what I did.
Moka...she was the first person I ever let in. Why? I have no idea...maybe it was the contact I needed. It hurt...to leave her but...what choice do I have? I'm a human, not a monster and there was nothing I could do to change that.
I ran through the forest looking for the bus stop. I knew Moka was probably following me but I wasn't changing my mind for her. Even if she was absolutely adorable. I sighed and stopped, looking around.
"Where was it again?" My eyes widened as I heard Moka scream. I turned and looked towards the school. "Moka..." Fuck...I couldn't just leave her alone with that asshole. He might try something with her.
The last thing I want is for Moka to get hurt...but I'm a human. What could I do to stop a monster? I looked to the ground and saw some rocks, I guess they could work. I placed them in my bag and ran to Moka.
I ran and saw him throw her into a tree. I saw he was in his monster form...he was big. "Hey, jackass! Leave her alone!" I yelled throwing a rock at his head. Moka looked at me sitting up. "Y/n...you came back..."
I stood in front of her tossing another rock in the air. "Ow that actually hurt bitch!" "Stay away from her ya overgrown freak!" I threw the rock, this one landing between his eyes. He growled and threw me down a hill.
I rolled down and finally stopped at the bus stop. I weakly stood up hearing the monster call down to me, calling me a mouse. I wish I was a mouse...at least then I'd be cute. I giggled softly at my joke.
I was dizzy but my vision soon focused. I dusted myself off and Moka ran to my side. "Are you alright!?" Her eyes filled with tears. "I'm sorry!" I looked at her confused. "Moka...I'm fine see? Just a few scratches...don't cry..."
I wiped away the stray tears as she cried. "I guess monsters and humans are too different to get along!" She sobbed. "Moka..." She hugged me and sobbed into my shoulder, I hugged her back.
I felt anger fill inside me, how dare he make Moka cry! She's a sweet and kind girl...even if she was a vampire. I pulled from the hug as the asshole came back and he looked pissed. I stood in front of Moka.
"Moka, go. Runaway and get somewhere safe..." "B-But Y/n..." I looked at her and glared at the monster, feeling something inside me snap. "Moka my whole life I have pushed people away... too scared to let someone in..."
"But I'm done with that. I'm going to protect you...even if I die in the process because you are my friend Moka!" I threw a rock at his head and he dodged and kicked me hard in the gut. I rolled across the floor and stood up shakily.
My stomach burned in pain but I ignored it. Moka ran to my side once again as I fell. I winced and felt bile rising in my throat until I puked. The monster laughed at me. "You can't even handle a kick to the stomach! What kind of monster are you!?"
I felt my body sway and I held onto Moka for support only to fall and accidentally brake her rosario. My eyes widened as a bright light surrounded her body. I shakily stood and stepped back.
Hundreds of bats covered her body, I could feel her power. Unlike the monster, I wasn't scared...I was calm. The bats flew away revealing Moka but...she looked nothing like the Moka I know.
She was...beautiful. Her once green eyes were now blood-red and her hair was a beautiful silver. Her breasts and ass were bigger...I don't know why I noticed that. I shook my head. "Moka?"
She smirked and looked toward the monster. That smirk was...hot. "So you're the one who woke me up?" Her voice was completely different! Oh, my stars I'm going to die of a gay panic by the time I leave!
The monster was shaking and terrified while Moka was stretching and preparing to kick this asshole's ass. She yawned and said only eight words. "It's time for you to know your place." I blinked.
Normally I'm not a bottom but my knees shook hearing those words. The monster ran towards her but knocked him into submission with one kick. My eyes widened. "No fucking way... you're so cool..."
My voice was only a whisper as I had suddenly become really dizzy. My body swayed as I walked toward her falling into her hold. She held me close. "See?" I mumbled. "Still the same...Mo...ka..." Everything went dark.
I woke up with my head in her lap. I sat up and noticed she was in her human form again. "Moka?" "Y/n! Thank goodness your finally awake!" She hugged me. I couldn't help but smile at her. "Hey..."
She handed me the bus schedule and my eyes nearly fell from their sockets. "Once a month!?" She giggled. "Yep."
