The earth shook and a rip could be heard. I was with Yukari at the time when it started. Looking up I noticed that there was a crack in the sky. "What is that?" Yukari questioned. "The great barrier that gives protection to Yokai is breaking."
Shock filled my mind. But how? The barrier is always protected and it protects us. "It's most likely leaking monster energy into the human world." Soon the girls ran up to us and Moka looked at me with worried eyes.
Yukari was just as scared, honestly so was I. Humans weren't ready for monsters and most likely never will. Who knows what will happen if the barrier breaks. "How is this happening?" Mizore questioned.
"Because there's a rosario that regulates the great barrier and it cracked." More shards of the barrier broke and I chewed my lip. Moka gripped her rosario and ran off. "Moka!?" I questioned. I followed her.
"Moka wait up!" She turned and I took her hand. "I'm coming with you." "Are you sure?" She looked at me with pure concern. I only chuckled softly, gently placing a kiss on her cheek. "I'd follow you into a fire if that's what you wanted."
Moka blushed and smiled. We walked into a manor and she led me to a silver table. A shattered rosario laid upon it. Now I understand...she wants to use her rosario. "I need you to take off my rosario."
Her voice was barely above a whisper, fear filling her eyes. I took her hand and smiled softly, cupping her face. "Are you sure? If you do this...you can never come back." She smiled back and nodded.
Another shake of the ground and more shards fell. We looked into each other's eyes and I knew it was right. I smiled and kissed her softly, keeping a hand on her face. I pulled away, taking off her rosario.
She took the rosario and placed it on the panel, fixing the barrier. I loved both Moka's and I was going to miss the innocent side of her. Everything seemed to be normal, except everyone seemed scared of Moka.
It was kinda funny, watching everyone get nervous around me because they knew Moka would kill them if they even tried to hurt me. I tried to work on our club but...something seemed off.
Don't get me wrong I love both Moka's but...I miss her. As I was walking to the gym, Moka seemed to notice my mood. "Are you alright?" She questioned. I only smiled softly and nodded. I haven't spoken to her since...yeah.
"Is this about the other Moka?" She seemed genuinely hurt. "N-No...It's just something I'm trying to get used to. I'm sorry if I'm being rude." She only smiled and kissed my cheek. "I know you loved both of us."
"I still do..." I will admit it was strange getting used to the real Moka but I was getting there. After gym was lunch. I separated from the others and stood on the roof. This is where Moka took me on my first day...
I shook my head. I needed to get used to this! Sure it was strange but I shouldn't look at her any differently! She's my girlfriend! I feel so...bad. I shouldn't be distancing myself from her...I should be kind and loving like always.
I felt Moka staring at me and looked over at her. "I know you're still upset..." I sighed. "I'm sorry..." I looked down, tears brimming my eyes. I felt her hug me, pulling me into her chest. "I understand."
She stood there, peppering my face with kisses and just reminding me I wasn't alone. It made me smile, even when she began to drink my blood. I tangled my fingers through her hair and purred, just the contact was enough.
Once she pulled back she kissed me softly. I didn't hesitate to kiss back, a smile on my face. I was still upset so I pulled away. "Can I...can I go on a walk?" She smiled and cupped my face. "Do whatever you need."
As I was walking, Ruby walked with me. "We can bring her back..." She said suddenly making me turn to her. "What!?" She nodded. Sadly I shook my head. "No. That Moka is my Moka and I'm going to stay by her side."
Ruby frowned and stormed off. I went back to my Moka and we spent the night with her. We ditched class the next day, even with the information thing. We just walked off campus, talking and holding hands.
"So...Ruby said there was a way to get you a new rosario...I declined." Her eyes widened. "You...declined?"
