Today was a free day of our trip. I decided to detach myself from the others, even Moka. I just wanted to take a day to step back and relax. No fighting, no chaos just peace. So I went to one of my favorite cafes!
I walked in, smiling at the familiar smell of coffee and sweets. I sat down and waited for someone to take my order. I was shocked when I noticed my waitress was an old...'friend' of mine.
"Oh my god...Y/n? It's been so long!" Callie questioned. "C-Callie..." I looked down frowning. I didn't want to have drama! I just wanted peace and no reminders of my life here! The blonde girl sat across from me with a smug smirk.
We were never friends. She was cruel and always treated me like crap. "So how have you been~?" She purred. "Callie, you're supposed to be taking my order. Not talking to me." Anger filled her eyes.
She slammed her hands on the table and I flinched. "Answer me bitch!" I winced and looked away gripping my skirt. Tears welled in my eyes. Maybe I shouldn't have done this. Callie has always been...like this.
"G-Good..." I whispered. She smirked. "Oh~ and how Josh has missed you~." I tensed. Remember when I had that meltdown with Gin? Josh and Callie are what caused my trauma...my meltdowns.
I needed to leave...now. I'm stronger now! I have a loving girlfriend and amazing friends! I'm not going to allow them to manipulate me as they did before! I stood up and glared daggers at her with pure anger.
Shock filled her eyes. "Fuck off. You don't own me anymore in fact you never did." With that, I stormed out of the cafe. I could feel myself having a panic attack...I needed Moka and now. I ran through the streets trying to get to her.
I was suddenly grabbed by my hair and pulled to the ground. I yelped and looked up seeing...Josh!? My eyes widened as I scrambled back in fear. He chuckled darkly before taking a step forward.
"You were so mean to Callie~. You deserve to be punished for that~." No! Not again! I stood and ran again. I couldn't be here! Coming here was a big mistake! I can't be here! I ran faster, knowing he was following.
I bumped into people, eventually ending up at the hotel. I ran past Kurumu and Mizore, running to Moka. I opened her door and she looked at me with a soft smile, quickly turning into worry.
"Y/n-" I hugged her tightly breaking down into tears. "Y/n what happened?" I just shook my head and hid in her chest shaking. "I-I-I shouldn't h-have gone on a f-free day...I should have s-stayed!" I sobbed.
She hugged me tightly and we sat on the floor, hugging each other. I don't know if Josh followed me but I prayed he didn't. I just can't look at him again. Soon I stopped crying and I just laid there.
I don't how long we laid there together but soon we agreed to have a day together. I kept my hand locked with hers. She noticed I was anxious but didn't press it. Soon I calmed down and we just hung out.
We sat on a bench and I laid my head on her shoulder. I held her hand and smiled. We were relaxed but nothing ever lasts. "There you are bitch!" A voice growled. I turned and tensed seeing Josh.
My face grew pale and Moka noticed. "Leave her alone!" She hissed. Josh snapped his fingers and Moka was grabbed by another guy. Josh walked over to me and I fell back shaking. Josh gripped my throat and held me up.
I whimpered and gripped his wrist. I saw something flash in Moka's eyes as Josh slipped a hand up my skirt. I felt tears escape my eyes as I began crying. My mind went to the moment when I was stabbed by Ruby...
Moka is going to kill them. Her eyes flashed red and a bright light shone from her rosario. I watched as Moka transformed and glared daggers at Josh. Josh looked at her with pure fear as I just looked down crying.
"Let. Her. Go." She growled. Josh growled and slammed my head into a wall. I screamed in pain and he dropped me to the ground. Moka growled and...killed Josh. I blacked out from the head trauma.
