Ariel

When I know what's going on I push Ashton away from me giving him a horrified look.

"Get out." I demand.

"Why?"

"YOU JUST KISSED ME! That's why."

"Did you like it?"

"No, because I love Luke."

"Good, that's why I kissed you. Go see him now. He's miserable."

I look at him, "Really?"

"Yes, Michael's over there right now, I'll take you."

I smile and run up the stairs.

I look in my mirror and I don't dare to tame my curls. I open my closet doors and pick out a tight black long sleeve shirt and a white high waisted skirt and I slid right into them.

I grab my black flats from off my bedroom floor and run down the stairs meeting Ashton.

"Let's go, like now." I say.

He looks up at me from his phone and clicks it off.

"Why do you have to like Luke and not me?"

I frown, "I guess because I met him first. I think if it was you I met I would probably be with you but met you because of Luke."

"Dammit Luke."

"I'm sorry Ashton, you're a sweet guy and I would love to be your bestfriend and that's it."

He gives me a hurtful look. I did just friendzone him.

"Fine. At least I'm better than Calum." He chuckles running his long fingers through his curly hair.

"You are better than him, mostly because he's no longer here and he gave up on me after my dad died."

It's his turn to frown, "Again I'm very sorry for your loss."

I smile, "It's fine Ashton it really is."

"Okay, well let's get going to Luke's house."

"Let's." I mutter slightly becoming nervous.

I haven't actually worn something like this in front of Luke. It was usually just in front of Calum or going to a fancy party with my parents. But since Luke and I broke up I decided to change. Not just for him but for myself. I have to stop hiding myself underneath baggy clothing. I have to become more social and get more friends.

If Luke, the most popular bad boy at my school goes out with me, the outcast of the school it's social suicide big time.

I don't like the fact that people don't think two different school groups can't be together, but that's what we've learned from society. Society judges us all, and pushes us to the limits to change. Either for the good or the bad.

Ashton and I exit from my house and I turn and lock the front door with my keys when I see a white and red van parked behind Ashton's car.

"Ms. Ariel?"

I look at Ashton with confusion and turn back to the man in front of us.

"Yes?" I ask raising my eyebrow.

"I am with the hospital and you're aware of your mother being in the accident ab-."

"Yes I'm aware, my father also died in that accident and my mother told me she practically didn't care about me anymore." I spat at him furiously.

"No Ms. I'm here to drop your mother off, she's been released."

"From where?" I bit my lower lip being even more nervous.
