Luke

I hate to see her this way. No way does she deserve this. This shouldn't have happened to her family. They were great people. And now, Ariel is locking herself inside her house and will only let Calum in. She won't even speak to me, and I'm her boyfriend. I understand why though, she's hurt and she needs someone who she has known for ever. That person is Calum, not me.

Ariel

"How is he doing?" I ask Calum.

"Your boyfriend? He's sad that you won't talk to him but he understands why. "

"I feel so bad doing this to him."

"Ariel, he understands why you're doing this. He cares about you so he's letting it be."

"How do you know all this?"

"Since the funeral Luke and I have been talking, that's why. We both care about you."

I force myself to smile a little but it's not a big smile.

"That's what I was waiting for."

"What?"

"For you to smile."

I look down at my sheets and pick some fuzz off of it.

"Can he come over now?"

"Call him."

I grab my phone off the side table and I look at the wallpaper. After my dad died I changed it to a family picture of us. It sparks a feeling up inside but I ignore it and i continue doing what I was planning on doing.

I dial his number and I wait for him to answer.

"Hello?" A woman's voice comes through the phone speaker.

"Oh, Hi. Is Luke there?"

"Lukey!!"

"Shut up."

I look at Calum before Luke answers.

"Hello? Ariel?"

"Hey Luke."

"How are you?" I hear a smile in his voice.

"Who was that?"

"Ariel, I'm at Ashtons house. Calum abondanded Nicole here."

"Oh. I'm okay. Do you want to come over?" 

"Of course I do. I'll be there right away."

We hang up and I look at Calum.

"You can go now."

"No, I don't know what you'll do when no one is home, so I'm staying until Luke comes. "

"Do you think I'll kill myself?"

"I didn't say that. Is that what you're planning?"

I hesitate. "I won't."

"I don't care, I'm still staying."

"Fine."

 Luke

"Okay guys, That was Ariel so I'm going to her house now."

"Okay, tell her we said we miss her." Ashton says.

"I don't know why she has you hot guys as friends." Nicole says, rolling her eyes.

"It's because shes not a fucking bitch like you are." I raise my voice at her."

"Rawr, Lukey's mad!" 

"Nicole, you're only here because Calum got you pregnant and your his responsibility now." Michael says.

 "Sooner or later he's going to fall in love with me, unless one of you guys do first." She winks.

"I will hurt him if he falls in love with you."

"Then looks li-."

"Okay guys, I'm gonna go to Ariels now. Behave yourselves until Calum gets here."

"Bye."

I close the front door and jog up to my car. I'm so excited to see her. I haven't seen her in a week and I've been waiting for this moment.

The first time we met was at that party where she lost her virginity to me, and that was a couple months ago. Then our date was before the accident.

And I'm going to tell her I love her.

I know that it's way to soon for me to tell her that, but I sadly fall in love way to quick. But I didn't fall in love with Nicole, I was just in it for the sex. But with Ariel it's a whole different story.

I love her.

I love Ariel.
