"I didn't even get to say I love you..."
This is the story of Hoseok, Yoongi and their 2 kids who are struggling in The Great Depression, with their family. Just as things are starting to look up, the world comes crashing down on them.

September 5, 1945 ________________
Yoongi and the children ran..
They were running to the docks where the boats would be bringing ships filled with soldiers. When they arrived the place was packed, spread out, but packed.
Anxiously they waited for ships to come.. Hearts racing.. Their father was only minutes away and they were so excited and happy to find out he was coming home.
Suddenly a loud sound of a horn from the ships blared, meaning they were now only seconds away. Then, the ships came into view, there were only two of them and Hoseok was on one of the two..
Soldiers started coming off ships in little groups at a time. Spouses and little kids running to hug their fathers and husbands, sobs escaping everyone's eyes..
Yoongi looked around trying to be patient, but it wasn't working. He wanted to see his husband and see him now.. Where is he?
"Dad!!!" Dal and Yu-jin shouted in unison, running to their dad. The young raven turned his head and there stood his husband.
Hoseok picked up his daughter and held her tight with one arm and wrapping another around his son, hugging them and kissing them on the cheeks. They've gotten so big on him. He missed them growing up.
Tears ran down the young raven's cheeks as he made his way over to his husband.He was here.. He was home...
The older put his daughter down and let his son go so he could grab onto Yoongi, who immediately jumped right into his arms and squeezed him so tightly.
"You're home.." Yoongi said through tears..
"I'm home..." Hoseok replied, tears now coming down his face..
They stayed quiet and just embraced each other, they were so happy to be in each other's hold once again..
"They took you from me and I didn't even get to say I love you before they did..." Yoongi said through sobs.
"It's alright... I'm here now and I'm not going anywhere.. I promise" Hoseok said, being serious with the promise this time.
Soon the family held onto each other, crying tears of happiness their dad was home safe and sound... Things needed to be cleared, but that didn't matter right now.. The thing that did matter was...
