After they left everything just got really awkward. Payton had zoned out so she couldn't remember what they were saying. Once they reached Auradon, Payton gave a sigh of relief. "I need to go do some things, I'll see you later." She told Carlos.

"Yeah, see you," She left and got changed into some more appropriate clothing. She had left the palace to do some things when she got a call from Jane,

"Hey Jane, what's up?"

"Hey Payton, I was just wondering about the pen toppers and where they go,"

"Yeah they go on the port side of the cabin,"

"Payton, Payton!" Carlos ran up in front of her,

"Just a sec Jane," Payton muted her phone and put it down, "What's up?"

Carlos just stared at her for a moment before stuttering. "Why is this so hard?" Carlos whispered underneath his breath. Payton smiled, knowing what he was trying to say.

"Carlos," Payton said softly. Carlos looked at her and Payton placed her lips on his gently, "My answer is yes."

Carlos smiled but then frowned, "Wait to which—"

"Both," Payton smiled.

"You know I'm glad you can do that sometimes," Carlos chuckled.

Payton leaned in closer, "I know," she pecked his lips and chuckled,

"Payton? Hello?" Jane's voice rang through her phone,

"Oh!" Payton jumped, she looked from her phone to Carlos.

"Go, I'll pick you up in a couple hours," Carlos chuckled,

"M'kay, bye!" She laughed and kissed Carlos one more time before leaving. She put her phone up to her ear, "Hey sorry,"

"What happened?"

Payton smiled and bit her lip, "Carlos and I er...kissed,"

"About time!" Jane chuckled, "You two are perfect for each other,"

"Thanks Jane. I gotta go get ready. I'll see you at the boat,"

"Okay, bye!"

"Bye."

Payton ran to her room and started to get ready for Cotillion until Evie came by with her dress. Since Payton's dress was last, Evie stayed to help her get ready.

"Carlos told us what happened earlier," Evie smiled,

"I bet he did," Payton laughed.

"I've been waiting for this day for a while now," Evie chuckled.

"Really?"

"Yeah, you two are so cute together,"

"Thanks I guess?" The two girls laughed. After she was completely ready, Evie pushed her over to the mirror, Payton gasped, "Evie, you are a miracle worker,"

"It's what I do," Evie smiled and shrugged.

Evie got ready in Payton's room since it would've taken too long to go to hers. Suddenly there was a knock at the door and Payton rushed to get it, Carlos and Doug were standing in the hallway. "Hello boys," Payton giggled,

"Hey, you look nice," Carlos smiled,

"Thank you, you're not too bad yourself."

"Haha, thanks a lot," Carlos teased.

"Evie's in here Doug," Payton opened the door wider to let the boys in.

"Jay's waiting in the car," Carlos pointed out.

Evie stood up, "Let's go then."
