Simone's P.O.V

Puma and Kevin left the four of us in the living room. It was 10:30 on a Saturday night and we had some liquor. There was no need to go out and have fun. Me and Zayden was taking straight shots while Zauri and Cameron was mixing their Ciroc with juice. "Baby, how much do you love me?," I questioned Zayden's love for me. "Baby, I love you so much that if I had the world, half of it would be yours.", Zayden slurred. I smiled knowing that Zayden loved me. "Have you talked to Brionna or Jessica today?", I asked already knowing the answer.

Brionna and I have become friends for the sake of her and Zayden's daughter, Jessica. Brionna texted me earlier saying that Zayden hasn't been spending time with Jessica or paying his monthly fees. "Babe, I'm trying to have a good time. Fuck Brionna!", he yelled causing Zauri and Cameron to look. "Zay, why are you so loud? It's just a question.", I said getting agitated. I decided to leave the situation alone and enjoy the rest of my night.

Zauri and Cameron made out so much that I told them to get a room. "Yall are so cute.", I said watching them wrestle across the floor. They smiled and continued to play.

An hour later, Heaven's door opened and Kevin came in the living room. He sat down and grabbed a glass and the Amsterdam. I hope that him and Heaven are finally back normal. Better yet, in a relationship. "Where Puma?", I asked. He looked at me with a face I couldn't understand. "She said she was right behind me.", he responded.

I stood up and went down the hall. I knocked on Heaven's door. "Come in.", she said quietly. Heaven was sitting on the edge of her bed with a long T-Shirt on. I noticed it was Jeremiah's. I sat in one of Zauri's beanbag chairs and also noticed she was crying. "What's wrong Puma? Did Kevin do something?". I stood up ready to defend my sister. "No MeMe. It's nothing. I'm just scared of getting my heart broken again. Jacob did it once.", she cried. "Heaven, Kevin is nothing like Jacob. Jacob was a bad choice from the jump. Jeremiah always told you that but you never listened.", I explained.

Heaven stood up and put some of Jeremiah's basketball shorts on. "I miss him so much. Everyday gets harder. I just had sex with his bestfriend. My bestfriend. Someone I've looked at like a brother.", she cried as she said those words. I missed Jeremiah so much but tonight was a night he would want us to have fun. "Sissy let's turn up. We can talk more in the morning. I got a sexy boyfriend in the front room waiting on me.", I said trying to cheer her up. She laughed and wiped her face.

We walked in the living room and partied the rest of the night away. We played cards, truth or dare and hide and seek. We all piled in Zayden's Mercedes truck and we went to Walmart just to walk around. "So Heaven, are you in Kevin in a relationship or naw?", Zayden asked. Heaven looked out the window and didn't respond. "We're starting off slow but eventually we will be King and Queen of Bridgeway High School.", Kevin said. "Starting off slow? Yall just had sex, how is that starting off slow?", Zayden asked. I punched him in the arm as I opened my door to get out and go into walmart. I already knew Kevin and Zayden wouldn't get along when Kevin moved back. Everybody got out the car and went into walmart, all in different directions. "Meet back at the truck in 20 mins. Zayden and I went and looked at the new flat screens they had out. "Baby I wanna get Jessica this 32 inch. It's only $209.99.", he told me. "Get it then Zay.", I said laughing. "Naw I'll wait until she get a lil bit older.", he chuckled. Everybody was at the truck when we made it out. When we made it to the house it was 1am. Everybody coupled off and went into different rooms. Me and Zayden went into my room, Cameron and Zauri stayed in the living room and Kevin and Puma went in her room.

I wanted to farther the conversation about Brionna and Jessica but Zayden gets so angry. "Simone, I'm so sorry about the way I acted earlier. I just want me and you to be happy. Brionna want to be your friend so she can get close to me again.", he said reading my mind. "Zay, that may be right but that has nothing to do with your relationship with your daughter. My moma and daddy wasn't together when I was born nor did I have a father growing up. Your daughter is only 2 years old. It's still possible to start being around for her more. Ya know? So either you grow up and take care of your responsibilities or you can count me out of your life plans." I paused and waited for a response.

"I want to marry you one day Simone Lashay Prince.", Zayden said as we got comfortable in my bed. I smiled thinking of us being together the rest of our lives. "I would love to be with you for the rest of our lives Zayden Dewayne Hines. But I'm serious about what I said." He laughed and said " I know and I'm gonna listen and obey what you said. I love you baby.", he said as I laid on his chest. "I love you more babe."
