just like every morning for the past week, jisung excitedly jumped out of his bed and ran out to the mailbox in their front yard. the 11-year-old snatched the keys of the mailbox on his way outside, and he unlocked the metallic box messily before pulling out every letter that was inside.

a bright smile appeared on his face when he read his name on an envelope coming from sm entertainment, and even if a sudden wave of nervousness hit him, he couldn't help but tear the paper open eagerly.

the young male pulled out a paper and read carefully the letter that was addressed to him – making sure to do it a few times not to miss any information.

"mommy!" the boy exclaimed, jumping back inside his house and slamming the door shut. "daddy!" he continued, pushing open the hidden door under the staircase where he knew his parents would be.

jisung was quick to go down the dark stairs, running into an underground room and slamming the door open, making it hit the wall. "mommy! daddy!"

"jisung, we're a bit busy at the moment..." his mother replied, diverting her attention from what she was doing.

"kid! help!" a broken voice yelled before a piece of cloth was placed into their mouth.

jisung barely glanced at the male that was tied to a chair between his parents, blood oozing out of his body because of injuries.

"i was accepted into sm entertainment!" jisung exclaimed, shaking the letter in his hand. "i am going to become an idol."

"you were accepted?!" his father asked out loud, then leaning towards his wife. "i though you had told me he wouldn't be accepted."

"i prevented him from training as much as i could! he couldn't be super good!" she whispered back.

"i'm so happy!" jisung giggled, re-reading the letter. "next week is my first training, and i'll be meeting all the others that were accepted too!"

"ji, honey... are you sure getting into sm entertainment is the right thing to do?" his mother asked, approaching him – she would have placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, but her hands were full of filthy blood, so she didn't want to dirty her son's pyjamas.

"i've always wanted to be an idol, mom." jisung nodded with a bright smile.

"but you know you'll need to take over the family business, right?"

jisung nodded quickly.

the family business. or in other words, death park, a huge mafia.

jisung's family had been one of the oldest mafias in korea, and they had grown so much over the years that they had become the biggest mafia. his father, park insu – also known as the great park – was at the head of the huge criminal organisation that was death park, with the help of his wife, park aera – or lovely trap. and since he was born, jisung had been raised to become the future leader of this huge mafia.

they operated secretly, none of their real names being associated to any of the murders, gambling, drugs and prostitutions activities that they had created and kept developing. they were obviously very rich, but money was never enough for them. they needed more. and to keep their reputation as the biggest koran mafia, they needed to keep going.
