This is what Love feels like

It's been 5 months since Leni's inauguration as the President of the Philippines, and to say that things have been pretty busy is such an understatement.

She barely had time to catch up to her friends but of course everyone was understanding. It's not so easy to run a country after all, especially if you're REALLY running it.

"Ma'am President, wala raw po si Sen. Risa sa office niya, kakatawag ko lang po" Leni's assistant told her while she was still drowned with her paper works.

"Ah ganun ba, oh sige thank you" She smiled and her assistant left the room.

It was already 7 in the evening and Risa and her was supposed to meet for dinner at 6 pm to catch up with things. Unfortunately, her meeting ran longer and she was unable to send Risa a message that she would be late.

She was worried that the other was mad, she has sent multiple messages yet wala pa ring reply ni isa. Still overthinking she sent another one.

"Ris, san ka na? i'm worried na"

She waited and waited, pero wala talaga. Her nerves not calming, she decided to message Issa.

"Hi issa! How are you? I wanna ask lang if your mom is home na? she's not answering my texts kasi"

After a few minutes, she recieved a reply.

"Hello Tita Lens! I'm great po, hope you are as well. Kaso po Tita we're not at home po eh, All four of us po are out :( I'm with Ianna po. Kuya Kiko's in a business trip while sinta's still with her thesis mates. I'll try calling her na lang po. Thank You!"

Leni sighed at the reply. For some reason, she couldn't help but just keep on worrying and she knew she won't be able to finish any more work unless she sees Risa herself so she called her assistant to tell her she's going put for a personal emergency.

She opted for driving herself and as soon as she arrived, she started ringing the doorbell.

Still no answer.

She started calling Risa's phone and let it rang and rang, til it was answered.

"Hello?" a croaky voice answered

"Ris! Hello? Why weren't you answering? I'm outside your house"

the call ended and soon, the gates were opening.

"Madam President? What are you doing here?" A pale, shocked and fragile looking Risa was what welcomed her.

"Are you okay? kanina pa ko nag tetext di ka sumasagot. I got worried. Bakit ang putla mo? are you sick?" She frantically asked as she held risa by her arm. Naramdaman niya na medyo mainit ito.

Immediately, she dragged her inside her house.

"Sorry Lens di na ko naka message. Sobrang sama kasi ng pakiramdam ko, naktulog agad ako pag uwi ko" Risa apologized, looking down.

"Shh.. It's okay" she reassured her "Di ka pa nag dinner no?"

Risa nodded.

"Okay, I'll order food na lang para mas mabilis and then you can drink some meds. Go to your room then change your clothes na ah? Higa k na lang don ako na bahala"

Risa hugged her to say thank you and went to her room to get changed.

Halos kalahating oras ang nakalipas bago siya nak sunod sa taas dala dala yung pagkain at gamot. She found Risa in her bed with her eyes closed. Instead of the usual peaceful face that masks her, she could see the cold sweats on her forehead with her furrowed eyebrow.
