Nothing goes as planned

They had a plan.

It goes like this: Therese. Leon. Fuck Buddies. No strings attached.

They've been closed friends for so long. The best of friends, but it was one drunken night that "magic" happened. They promised it definitely won't happen again (we all know how that goes).

It was Leon who proposed this thing saying how she's not really ready for commitments or how she's not really looking for love at the moment and Therese was fine with it.

So here they are: No strings attached. And it was going so well, almost too well if you ask me but suddenly, it wasn't all just no strings attached anymore.

Atleast for Leon, and she knew exactly when it happened

They were supposed to hangout that night and Leon was already waiting at Therese's condo (she has a key. they trust wach other that much).

It has been hours and Therese was nowhere near in sight. She haven't even contacted Leon if she's coming home or not.

Leon was going to start a movie but Therese came in, looking exhausted as ever, and apologized to Leon.

"Oh god, Leon! Sorry! I was stuck sa meeting tapos andami pang paper works na I had to finish today. God! Yung traffic pa..."

"Hey... It's fine. Maupo ka muna, mukhang pagod na pagod ka." She took Therese's bags and left it on the table top.

"Have you even eaten dinner yet?" Therese shook her head, Leon sighed.

"Okay how about this, just stay there and I'm gonna run the bath... do you want me to cook for you? or should we order?" She asked, caressing the other's hair.

"Let's order na lang... Chinese please~" Therese answered, smiling thankfully. Leon replied with a smile and a kiss in the forehead before running to the bathroom and starting the bath, adding Therese's favorite scent: Lavender.

While Therese was on the bath, she quickly ordered their food and went back inside to check on her and she was quickly asked to join in the tub.

She sat behind Therese, giving her back massages, washing her hair, and of course the occasional make-outs.

They didn't do this. Intimate things like this were for couples, and they weren't one.

But do you know what Leon thought?

She doesn't mind. She doesn't mind waiting for Therese anytime. She doesn't mind running the bath, and doing non-sexual, intimate things with Therese.

She doesn't mind as long as it was Therese.

And looking at her peaceful face, she realized she had fallen hard. Therese Navarro got Leon Gerona to fall deeply in love with her.

That was the night she knew that there were, in fact, strings that are attached. And it has been five, gruesome, months since that night and she hasn't done anything!

How could she? She was scared she'll be turned down and everything will come crashing down and instead of having a little bit of her, she'll lose her forever.

Sighing, Leon closed her eyes and went back to sleep.

"Eh kasi nga, pano kung wala naman and then we lose the friendship?"

"Eh pano kung meron?" Kiko countered, in which Leon gave a that's-impossible-look in return.
