6 days before the accident

"Rayha! Come down here, it's time to go!" Rayha was currently explaining to her stuffed penguin, David-Luke, that he was more important to her than Rainbow, her rainbow-striped build-a-bear
"I promise, David- Okay mom!" Rayha squealed, she had this uneasy feeling at the pit of her stomach, but she chose to ignore it. She padded down the stairs in her cute little twinkle toes.
Once they were in the car, Ayesha, Rayha's mom, put the key in the ignition- turning it. The engine roared to life...
And so did Rayha's stomach.
"Mom, can we go to Macca's?" Rayha asked, cuddling David-Luke.
"Sure honey, but can you eat at the park? I have errands to run and I can't be late," Ayesha explained.
"Sure mum," Rayha smiled.

Once they had gotten to the park and eaten, Rayha went under the slide, where its shady. She looked down at her shoes, and started stomping.
"It's so shiny!" Rayha said, mesmerized. She continued walking, not realizing that anyone was in front of her, and running into someone.
"Oof," the boy said, falling on his behind.
"Oops, sorry," Rayha giggled.
"Woah, is that a penguin?" He asked staring at David-Luke, his blue eyes widening.
"Yep," Rayha said matter-of-factly.
"I'm Luke,"
"Rayha, and this is David-Luke," Rayha said handing Luke David-Luke.
"Hey that's my name!" Luke said excitedly.
"Yeah.. Woah!" Rayha and Luke didn't know what fate was, but this must've been it.
And thus their story began, and it wasn't ending soon, just like the stomach pains Rayha's going to have from all that Macca's.
