4 days before the accident

Death.
Rose sighed inwardly. This isn't what a 6 year old should be focused on. It wasn't that she was scared of dying, that just wasn't the case.
It was who was going to face this; death.

Luke, on the other hand, was unprepared. He didn't know in 5 days all these walls he built up we're going to crash down. Crash and burn.

Like he's this on-the-go carnival. He's built up, high and mighty. He's got all the bolts secured and he's praying no one will get hurt due to human error. Everyone has fun. Laughs. Smiles. Until slowly one by one, each individual ride starts crashing down. Everything's ruined. No one's hurt. Except Luke, he'll always be burned in the end.

Perks of being Luke Hemmings, amirite?

Like he's staring down at the world from up above. Time of his life, not a care in the world. Then all the sudden he falls, crashing from up above. He's finally got his head out of the clouds.

"Hey Rayha," Poor, Innocent Luke Chirped.

"Heyy!" Rayha exclaimed. She didn't know she was the cause of it all. Unintentionally, of course.

"Hey Rose," Rose mumbled to herself as she walked up to the pair, neither noticing she was there.

"Are you coming over today?" Since they hadn't noticed she was there, Rose turned her head and began mocking what they're saying without talking.

"I think so, I'm not sure," Rayha smiles down at the boy with glimmering blue eyes.

They were so innocent, too young. So naïve.
