I made a right, then another right, then a left, then a right. I had to outrun them. I climbed up a tree and his in the branches. I made sure that the leaves were covering my body. I waited very silently until the were near the tree that was hiding on. I grabbed a part of a branch and threw it the opposite way I was going.
"Over there!" The guard that was guarding the tunnel shouted.
"Follow her!" He ordered.
Once they were out of my sight and my earshot, I scrambled down the huge tree and ran the other way. I kept running and running. I couldn't take a break or else they might go back and find me. I only stopped to catch a vole and ate it while I was running at the same time.

It tasted delicious, better than anything I have eaten in the past few years. It was really juicy, with a lot of meat.
It was then I just realized, where am I going to go? Where was I going to go? I didn't know where my family even was, I didn't even know if I had any family left. I only remember my mother's face when they took me.
I guess I would just travel around the world and try to find my family or clan.
And I would probably meet some new friends along the way.
I looked around at my surroundings, hoping to memorize what this place looks like and remember where it is. There was many, many trees, and the North Star was just ahead of me. I'm going North, I'm going north. I kept saying in my head over, and over again.
It was getting darker, and darker. Quieter, and quieter, until is was so dark, I couldn't even see my paws, and until it was so silent, it was like nothing was living. I decided I would settle for the rest of the night and continue my journey in the early morning.

I stirred awake, and I heard the running of paws. It was so loud, maybe that's what woke me up. I kept blinking until my vision was clear. I saw that they were bears. Coming towards me. Wait, those are bears! The bears that captured me. Oh, no. They have found me. I had to run, but I was so tired I didn't have the energy to. they were catching up, and sooner than I realized, they were circling me and taking one step at a time so in sync that it was like it was one person, but multiplied. They came closer, and closer, until they noses were barely touching my fur. They were all reaching for me, still in sync. No, how did I let this happen to me, I thought.
