3rd person
Izuku Midoriya, a 3rd year U.A high student, with green fluffy hair and a quirk that wasn't actually his, was staring over at his childhood best friend, Katsuki Bakugo. Well, Kacchan to him. When they were both a lot younger than what they currently were, the two inseparable best friends had adopted nicknames for each other. Izuku's nickname was Deku and Izuku's nickname for Katsuki was Kacchan. However, Izuku's nickname had a hidden, much darker meaning. Katsuki had chosen it especially for him because it meant 'loser'. He used to be quirkless, and forever being discriminated against in a society where 80% of people had a quirk. The year before he came to U.A, his dream high school for heroes in training, he had an encounter with his favourite pro-hero, All Might. After a short while, All Might decided that Izuku was going to be the next pro-hero and inherit One for All. Now, he was in his final year of high school and still had a devastating crush on Kacchan.
His heart thumping, he turned his glance away from Kacchan. He tried to listen and join his friends' conversations but it wasn't working. Kacchan was taking up every single thought in his mind... And my god, he was gorgeous. He had fiery red eyes with a certain warmness, fluffy blond hair and the most toned body he'd ever seen. And an extremely nice personality, hidden by aggressiveness.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom guys, I'll be back soon." Izuku announced, standing up. He was long gone before anyone could react.
Locked in a cubicle, Izuku held his head in his hands. That stupid blond idiot was living in his head rent-free. He couldn't focus on anything. His studies, his training, nothing! But he wasn't going to cry. He was just someone who he used to know and be friends with. And plus, they were enemies! Kacchan literally told him to kill himself! It may have been a long time ago, but there was no way Kacchan could take back those words. So, why was he feeling like this? He probably didn't even like boys! Izuku did... but he did date Uraraka for 2 months in second year. He knew that she wasn't over him. If Izuku could just force himself to think about her instead of Kacchan then he'd be fine. But he couldn't. He didn't love her. That's the whole reason why he broke up with her in the first place. Kacchan...
Meanwhile...
Kirishima grinned at his best friend. "What about you, Bakugo?"
"Hah?" Katsuki asked, looking up from his phone.
"Do you like anyone?" Kirishima asked.
Katsuki looked his best friend up and down. Sh*tty hair was holding hands with Mina. They were dating, clearly, but hadn't declared it out to anyone who wasn't in their friend group so therefore, were trying to hide it. And Kirishima was hoping to hook him up with someone.
"What kind of sentimental extra do you think I am?" he asked.
"I-I thought-"
"You thought wrong." Bakugo responded looking back down at his phone. He sighed. Matter of fact, Bakugo wasn't paying attention at all to the tiktok Kaminari had tagged him in. He had someone on his mind. Somebody who he thought he hated with every bone in his body but recently... things were different.
Deku.
He'd always felt a soft spot for him, since they were kids, but now that had amplified far too much. It had gone past the point of wanting friendship. He wanted so much more than that. But there was no way in hell that Deku would accept that. Plus, Deku would probably end up getting back with pink cheeks. So, Katsuki didn't have a chance in hell in getting to go out with him. And... Deku definitely wasn't gay. Unlike his own closeted gay *ss self. He finally pulled himself out of his daydream and looked down at what he had been sent.
'The person who sent this 2 u wants u 2 know...
ur gay 😏 🏳🌈'
Bakugo's eyes widened. This had to be some sort of sick joke. How the f*ck would they know that he was ((quite clearly)) gay? Was he really that obvious?
"Dunce face, what the f*ck is this?" he demanded.
"It's a joke Bakubro! Seriously, it means nothing!" He replied, slowly backing away. He had a feeling that he was going to get blown up.
"Tsh! Just shut your face, or you'll find that you won't have one anymore."
**timeskip**
Bakugo sat in his dorm room, texting on the group chat that he'd created. He just didn't like talking to people face-to-face. He was planning Kirishima's birthday, which was 2 weeks away.
Suddenly, he got a message from Kirishima in their private chat.
(their phone conversation)
Bakugo walked to his form room, wondering what on earth could be so urgent. Why the f*ck would Kirishima drag him out of his dorm, after curfew? Hah, everyone was in their pjs'. This was gonna be a f*cking hilarious view.
Izuku woke up angrily to his phone ringing, but quickly calmed down. He answered the phone call.
"Urakara, why are you ringing me? It's 11pm!" he said, combing his hair with his fingers.
"Deku-kun, you need to get to our home room now! There's... someone here who needs to see you."
Quickly, Izuku ended the phone call and pocketed his phone. With a pang at his heart, he thought of someone.
'Dad? No, no, no. He'd never... Isn't he on the other side of the world? If it isn't him, who could it be?' Izuku thought as he pulled on his All Might hoodie, determined to look at least presentable.
Katsuki and Izuku arrived at form room at almost the same time. And who they saw there was completely unexpected.
Word count: 979 words.
