Izuku's fist met with the stained glass on the front door, causing a loud thump and some cracks to appear. Pretty instantly, the door opened, revealing someone that Izuku knew wasn't who he said he was.
Dabi.
Or his friend's brother, Touya Todoroki, but let's be nice and use his preferred name. Izuku stood with his arms folded, with Katsuki two steps behind him. Izuku made the decision to start off nice with him, then resort to violence if necessary. Kill 'em with kindness, if you know what I mean.
"Good evening Dabi. I believe that you and your colleagues have something of mine. May I have him back?" Izuku said formally.
"What makes you think that we're going to surrender that easily?" The raven haired male replied defensively.
"My f*cking fist in your face, that's what." Izuku heard Katsuki mutter furiously. He internally chucked at his husband's words.
"Oh, of course I don't think you're going to surrender. Not now. Later, perhaps, when my hands are wrapped around your throat, but that's only going to happen if you resist. So, I'll ask you again. Give. Back. What. Isn't. Yours." He said, pulling his hand through his hair.
Izuku's eyes flashed to what was happening behind him. Someone with a feminine body was walking down the stairs behind him, holding something.
"Oi Dabi, is All for One here yet?" She asked. It didn't sound like who Izuku expected it to sound like, but there was no mistaking her psychotic face when it came into view.
There was no mistaking the face of his son either.
"Ah! Izuku-kun! Hello! I've missed you~" Toga said, smiling sweetly at him. Her arms were holding Haru and he... he didn't look okay.
His lips were blue, his clothes were dirty, his hair was sticking up, and that was just a few things. Izuku's heart shattered a little seeing him that vulnerable. His own child, made with love and care and affection... treated like that at less than six months old.
"Toga, you know what I'm here for. We can do this the easy way or the hard way." He responded, turning his nose up at the girl. His arms were open, ready to take him back into them after 11 hours of him not even being around.
But, these people were villains. They would rather die than take the easy way.
Toga passed Haru to Shigaraki, letting the small child sit in his crusty hand. Haru immediately started squirming, not enjoying this one bit. He wailed a little, earning a disgusted look. Shigaraki activated his quirk in one hand and raised it so that he was in a perfect position to hurt him. But would he actually do it? Would he actually have the guts to hurt a baby?
He would.
He raised his arm to Haru's and placed his hand on it. Haru's eyes immediately widened, watered and tears began to leak down his cheeks.
Before Izuku's brain could comprehend what in the heck was going on, he had activated BlackWhip and had decided where he wanted them to go. The vines (could they be called vines?), slipped around his child's torso as gently as he could get them to be. They brought Haru to him, and he immediately scooped him up in his arms. The small child started having a panic attack, sobbing into his father's chest. Izuku was torn on his decision. He wanted to comfort his child, take him to a corner and calm him down as best as he could, whereas he also wanted to go and break Shigaraki's neck.
Vengeance clouded the hero's mind, but he could see how much Haru needed someone. Suddenly, he heard a voice behind him.
"I'll take him, Deku." the reassuring voice of his husband said. Izuku smiled quickly and handed Haru to him.
Then, Izuku turned back to the villain. He glared at him, his vision going red at the sides, in his peripheral view, before raising a fist.
From then, everything happened in a blur. Katsuki's eyes watched as his husband beat up the villain, but not letting him die. Toga and Dabi didn't seem to do anything either, surprisingly. They were, just like Katsuki, frozen to the spot.
Izuku sighed, wiping his face. He had made the villain unconscious but hadn't decided to kill him. Why? Because he didn't want to ruin the future too much. That wasn't his job.
He checked over himself, and saw his gloves were a little bit bloody. He smiled, and said lightly, "These are going to need a wash."
Then, he turned to his youngest child and husband. Thank god, Haru hadn't seen any of that. he reached out to take him again, and he was allowed to. Katsuki gently placed Haru back in his father's arms.
Izuku realised the small child was still crying, and held him close. He wanted something. His brain worked itself for a while before it had found what he wanted.
"Kacchan, you're gonna have to go look for his plushie." Izuku said, playing with his son's hair. It wasn't long enough to put in a hair tie, but he simply fluffed up his hair, before patting it down again.
Bakugo nodded before glaring at the villains. "You even f*cking dare try that sh*t on me, you'll end up like him." He said, indicating the unconscious villain on the floor. "Worse."
He must have looked quite intimidating, as the villains didn't even try to mess with him. He went upstairs and hunted around each room for it. At long last, in a pink and girly room, he found it. This was probably where he was kept. But, it wasn't in any way fit for a baby. He didn't even have an actual pillow!
Katsuki made his way back downstairs and saw Deku sitting down, right in the middle of the garden sort of area. He smiled and handed the Hero Deku plushie to his son. He immediately grabbed and hugged it very tightly.
"Well then, should we get going?" Katsuki asked Izuku. Izuku nodded, standing up while still holding him. The young boy cried even more as he stood up. Izuku's eyes met Katsuki's, screaming for help. He was terrible at comforting, as he was often the one being comforted.
The best place to get him would be home. Their own timeline, their own house... they had to leave, for Haru's sake.
Izuku nodded, finally coming up with an answer to Katsuki's question. "We need to get going." He said. "And get his arm sorted, before that one regains consciousness."
"It's not going to be safe to fly. Not with Haru. It might burst his eardrums or something. Y'know, 'cuz he's so little. I mean, I'm 25 and mine is slowly fading, so god knows what it's gonna do to him."
((Quick note: this is set in May, and because Bakugo's birthday is in April, he would've had his 25th birthday, whereas Deku's is in July, so he's still 24.))
"Wait, what?" Izuku asked, wanting to confirm what he had heard. Bakugo had never spoken about his hearing before, it wasn't something that needed to be brought up a lot. But the fact that it was slowly deteriorating was... something that threatened to make Izuku's brain malfunction.
There was a chance his husband could be completely deaf, soon. That very thought terrified Izuku.
"We'll talk about it when we get home." Katsuki said dismissively. Izuku nodded, worriedly, reached for Katsuki's hand, grasped it tightly, and started walking back in the direction of U.A, somehow managing to hold Haru with one arm.
End.
