Chapter 19 - Spin the bottle

A week had passed since the future versions of Katsuki and Izuku had left. 

Class 3-A sat in their common area, after truly exhausting training. Each and every one had their water bottles, sipping from them as they sat in silence. 

"We should play something." Said Mina. 

"Like what?" Urakara asked. 

"Spin the bottle, or something like that. We all have bottles, don't we?" She replied. "How about... we spin the bottle twice and the people that it lands on have to kiss, but they can choose whether they want to kiss in public or in private." She added. 

"That's actually quite a good idea. Everyone up for it?" Urakara asked. No one objected to it. 

Mina, now rather excited, placed her empty bottle on the floor and spun it. It went round and round, until it started to slow down. 

Izuku's heart rate went up. He didn't want to be kissing anyone, especially not first. Thankfully, it passed him, and landed on Kaminari instead. He immediately went red, and looked at everyone in the room, seeing who he would like to kiss and who he wouldn't. 

Mina grinned. "Well then, Denks, let's see who you'll be kissing." She said, spinning the bottle again. It completed one turn before slowing down and eventually falling on somebody who didn't exactly hate the idea of kissing Denki, but only tolerated it. 

Jirou. 

"Well... off you go then, unless you're going to treat us all and do it publicly?" Mina asked, a hint of malice in her voice. 

Jirou, wanting to disprove the expectations that she and Denki would go outside to kiss, stood up and strode over to Denki. She leant down, grabbing his face and pulling him into a kiss. 

Everyone, and I mean everyone, gasped. It was one of those totally over the top gasps, that you usually see in musicals and U.S dramas. 

After around 10 seconds of kissing, Jirou pulled away, leaving an extremely flushed Denki. 

"Happy now?" she asked, with not a single part of her face red, not even pink. 

Everyone was speechless, but they quickly got over that. Mina sighed, and span the bottle again. It went round a pretty surprising three times, before slowing and coming to a stop, while pointing at Momo Yaoyorozu. 

She surprisingly stayed rather composed until it was revealed who she would be kissing. Todoroki. At that exact moment, her cheeks went red, along with Todoroki's. 

"Can we go outside?" Todoroki asked. 

"That's a shame... but yeah, of course." Mina said. 

The group waited for a while, listening to the sounds outside. It seemed to be sadly mediocre and basic though. Todoroki and Momo came back in, still blushing. 

"Right. And we go again!" Mina said with a giggle, spinning the bottle. 

It went round nearly twice, but stopped on... herself. "Oh! Well, what a funny thing. Hm, let's see who I get." She said, quietly. Someone on the other side of the room couldn't have been able to hear her. She spun the bottle around again and it landed on Kirishima. Kirishima went as red as his hair but Mina seemed surprisingly confident. 

"Can we go outside?" Kirishima asked. 

"Okay then." She replied, standing up. They left the room, and came back a flushed mess. Izuku noticed Katsuki raise his eyebrows at the absolute mess Mina had managed to turn him into. Her lipstick smudges were everywhere, including his neck and cheeks. At least they had fun. 

A few more people had to go and kiss each other, but none of them were particularly eventful. Izuku had been observing Katsuki that entire time and was hoping that the bottle didn't land on Katsuki. Or himself, for that matter. 

"I think this will be our final kiss." Mina noted, before spinning the bottle. It spun round and round twice before landing on Izuku. Izuku gasped, quite surprised. His heartbeat quickened dramatically as the bottle was spun around again. He prayed that it would be someone who he was close to. Urakara, or Todoroki, maybe? Preferably, it would be Katsuki, but the chances of that happening were slim. 

But not zero.

As Izuku had hoped, the bottle pointed at a certain blond man, who he knew that he would be spending his future with. The redness on his cheeks died down to a soft pink as he looked at Katsuki, not sure of what to say. 

"Deku." Katsuki said, staring right at the smaller, younger greenette. With a single indication, Izuku had stood up and walked over to the other side of the room. 

"Yeah?" He said, his heart practically palpitating as Katsuki looked him up and down. 

Katsuki got to his feet and practically loomed over Izuku, the few centimetre difference in their height becoming obvious. His hand rubbed along the soft peach fuzz on Izuku's face, before drawing him in closer and closer then pressing their lips together, fully kissing him for the first time. 

Both boys' eyes fluttered to a close and they stayed like that. Katsuki's hands found themselves in different places on the omega's body. One was on his waist and the other stayed at his face. Both of Izuku's arms had automatically placed themselves on top of Katsuki's broad shoulders. They just felt... right. Everything about this felt like it was meant to be, like fate had put them in each other's lives for a reason. 

Katsuki's tongue was dragging itself across Izuku's lip, asking for access. While Izuku desperately wanted to give it, he was barely aware of the entirety of their class watching them, with all kinds of different reactions on their faces. 

That's why he said no. He continued to kiss Katsuki, not wanting to deprive him of this, but simply had no choice but to pull away after just another 8 seconds. He had run out of breath, and it seemed that Katsuki had too. 

Both of them were breathing rather heavily, and it became obvious that they enjoyed that. If they didn't, they would not have kissed for an entire minute straight. 

No one would have thought it possible, but Izuku managed to go redder than Kirishima's hair. He felt awful. Katsuki had managed to get him to completely lose his mind, just by kissing him! He mumbled a poorly made excuse before heading up to his dorm room, unaware of what was going to follow.
