Meredith just finished her 13 hours surgery,it took them a while after bringing back the patients heart beat, it's on its way now to the ICU and needed a long recovery,and expected to have infection because of the injuries from the accident and bleeder inside its body.

"Grey!" she heard Bailey calling her few meters away from behind as she walks out of the scrub room.

"Yeah...." she said  turning around so she's facing her.

"Remember the General Attending I mentioned last week?" she asked more like a statement looking down at her phone.

"Yeah....when is she coming again?" Meredith asked resting her hands on her hips.

"Tomorrow..... and it's not a she anymore it's s He now so..." Bailey breath out at her last words looking up at Meredith who now has a confuse look on her face.

"You'll be working with a guy.... you'll be supervising him... and introduce him to the staff at surgical floor and mostly to your colleagues" she said "Are we gonna have a problem with that Grey" she added sternly

"No!" Meredith reply shooking her head negativity as Bailey walk pass her.

'A guy?' she thought,she doesn't really like working with guys and supervising them especially if they're interns, but he's an attending so this should be easy.

"Hey Mer" Maggie called as she walked inside the attending lounge

"Yeah?" she replied taking off her lab coat

"Has Bailey said anything about that new Attending who's working with you? When's she arriving again"? Maggie asked

"Tomorrow and it's a he not a she, that's what Bailey said" Meredith gave back putting her clothes back on.

"Oh....okay see you at home then" Maggie said with a smile before walking out of the room as Jo and Alex walk in.

"Hey Mer" Alex said walking in with Jo hand in hand...

"Hey...do you have a date for your wedding?" Meredith asked

"Uh yeah maybe in 2-3 months... we still have a long way to go also paperworks" Alex answer sipping his water.

"Oh....well have you made a plan yet?" Mer gave back

"Just a few touch you know,as usual you're my best woman, Shepherd and Peirce are bridesmaid" Alex answered proudly

"Well who's the made of honour?" Meredith asked walking towards the table and fixing her things

"Robbins" Jo answered looking at Alex back to Meredith

"Hmm,okay" Meredith asked looking through her phone

"How's the um, new attending has Bailey said anything when's she arriving?" Alex asked

"Uh yeah she said tomorrow and it's a He now,not a she that changed it" Meredith asked before stepping out.

"I've never had a fellow before, He's my first fellowship..... I hope he's good" she thought the next morning while looking at herself at the mirror.

"Mommy!" Ellis yelled behind her pulling her out of her thoughts.

"Hey.. Ellie Belle how did you sleep?" she asked hugging her daughter.

"Good" Ellis answered with a smile.

"So mommy's gonna be late at work tonight okay, the babysitter will stay with you and Aunt Maggie will put you to bed tonight okay?"  she said leading her daughter out of her room hand in hand.
