Once I left the Skyview Temple behind me, I see my little Kikwi friend run towards me.

"Machi! What are you doing here? It's dangerous!"

I dash to him, afraid something happend and kneel down, worried.

"I'm sorry, friend kwee... I just wanted to bring you something."

I tilt my head in confusion and he hands me a little bug robot.

"I hope this will help you find your friend. You helped me find my friends and I wanted to thank you with this! Kwee!"

I take the bug from him and smile.

"Thanks. I'm sure it will help me find her. Come. I will bring you back to the others."

Machi nods and we return to Faron Woods.

Once I made sure all the Kikwis are still save, I bid my farewell to them.

"Will you ever come back friend?"

Machi holds onto my pants, making me smile as I pet his head.

"Yes. I will. I promise."

The elder Kikwi pulls Machi away from me and I wave them as I run towards the nearest goddess statue to return back home.

As soon as I arrive over the clouds, I call for Crimson, who immediatly catches me and I greet him with hugging his long neck.

"Hey Crimson. I hope you didn't missed me too much?"

I pet his head, ruffling through his feathers and he happily flaps his wings.

"How about we fly to the Lumpy Pumkin and get some soup for you and Sapphire, hm?"

As soon as he hears soup, he circles around and flies towards the island.

I chuckle and enjoy the ride, resting on his back. Damn, I'm tired. I went early in the morning and now the sun is setting. I wonder. When the sun is gone and night falls here, what time of day is it at the surface? Is it also night then? Must be...

Crimson smootly lands on the island and I slide off. From exhaustion, I stumble to the side but Crimson quickly catches my tunic in his beak so I don't fall.

"Hehe. Thanks, buddy."

I pet his beak weakly as he carefully snuggles his head into my chest.

"Heeeyheey Link! Same as always?"

I'm greated by Pumm's cheerful voice and nod at him. He gives me a thumps up and heads to the back. I decide to sit down on a free table and rest my head on Crimson. I'm so tired...

"You should rest. You look exhausted."

Kina places my bowl with steaming soup infront of me and the one for Crimson on the ground. I smile at her, weakly.

"I'm okay. I don't have time to rest. Zelda is in danger."

She holds the empty serving plate to her chest.

"Maybe she is, but you won't be of much help like this, Link. You have to rest."

After that she turns around and leaves to serve the other tables, leaving me alone with my trusty friend.

"Maybe I should go to Eldin tomorrow, what do you say to that?"

I absently pet Crimson and he snuggles his head into my head, looking straight into my eyes. He's also worried about me... I smile at him.

"Okay. Message received. I will rest before leaving."

Crimson flaps his wings and goes back to eating as I also take my first spoon full of soup. I should take some with me for the journey. In Faron Woods I was able of eating some of the fruits around but I doubt a scorching area will have anything eadible.
