As soon as we're up I rush to Ghirahim who sits on the ground. He looks much better already. I'm glad. I jump at him and he catches me in his arms.
"We did it, Ghirahim! You're free!"
I cuddle into his arms and he looks into my eyes.
"Yes. Thank you, sky child. I owe you my life."
He hugs me a while longer until Zelda clears her voice. I stand up and stand infront of Ghirahim protectivly.
"Zelda, he's not-"
Ghirahim pushes me away and approaches Zelda. He bows deeply to her.
"I'm sorry, young lady for causing you so much trouble. I was obsessed with fullfulling my fate that it never occured to me to do what I truly wanted."
Zelda crosses her arms and eyes him seriously. I can see Ghirahim struggle a little under her stare and try hard to hold back laughter. After a while I crack laughing and call out to Zelda.
"Oh c'mon, Zelda. Stop torturing him. That's enough."
Ghirahim looks at me confused and back to her. She tries to keep up her act but soon starts laughing herself. Ghirahim is now totally confused until she speaks up.
"I'm sorry. You just approached me so seriously that I thought I will play along a little and act all tough."
Zelda wipes away a tear and holds out her hand to Ghirahim. He looks back and forth between her and the outstretched hand surprised.
"I know that you protected Link and I know your feelings for each other. Forgive and forget?"
She smiles at Ghirahim and he smiles back, taking her hand and nod.
"Thank you. I truly mean it."
She nods smiling and then we hear the door to the shrine open.
"Impa!"
Zelda rushes to the old lady and hugs her. The lady smiles and looks to me and Ghirahim.
"I'm proud of all of you. Especially you two. You fought against your destinies and found a way to go against it in the end. You never gave up hope."
I smile at Ghirahim and then look back at her as she continues.
"It was thanks to all three of you that the evil lord could be sealed at last."
Ghirahim points at himself.
"What? Me too?"
She nods and continues.
"It was the deep and pure wishes of all of you that let the gate of time open. Without you, former Demon Lord, their wishes would have been too weak to reach the goddess. It was your heart, that gotten so strong through your pure feelings for Link and wanting to change that filled in the last gap there was so the gate could open and the evil sealed. Even while the sealing ceremony of these two, you still send all your hopes to them, which helped repairing the seal stone."
Ghirahim's eyes are wide in shock as I hug him and smile at him.
"Great job, Ghirahim. Thank you. We couldn't have done it without you."
I see his cheeks blush a little.
"Sh...shut up. Stop mocking me, sky child."
I start laughing and everyone joines in.
"I will stay here and keep watch over the seal so it may never release the evil again. You should head home."
The old lady Impa nods to us and heads inside the shrine. Zelda and I look at each other and she nods. I look at Ghirahim.
