The freedom of nature an adventure much bigger than you,
Trees towering above you, an impossible challenge daring you to climb,
Picnics enjoyed below the sparkling sun,
Desperation to get back to having adventures filled with fun.
Days long just playing with the beauty of nature,
That only a distant memory now,
Calm and serene days before stress and anxiety plagued our minds,
When the only tears were from small injuries, not the fear of not being enough,
Not having to worry and obsess over grades,
When we didn't have to worry about our appearance and society didn't pressure us to look perfect.
