Peter was exited to go home. It was Friday and he and his dad were planning to do all the stuff they liked over the weekend. He was walking home and somehow found himself a near empty street... an empty street in New York ? Anyway, Peter was daydreaming about spending hours in the labs with his dad and watching movies and all that when suddenly he was, quite rudely, pulled out of his daydream by, you guessed it, Flash.

' hey Parker ! '
Peter rolled his eyes
' what do you want Flash ? '
' oh nothing much, just wanted to see my favourite punching bag '
' go away flash '
' oh yeah that's gonna make me leave isn't it Parker ? Wow your dumb-ness never fails to amaze me '
' dumb-ness ? That's not a word ' peter thought to himself. Flash, while peter was thinking about ' dumb-ness ', turned peter around and shoved him into an ally peter didn't notice until he fell into a trash can.
' what the fuck flash ? '
' shut up Parker Jesus can't even get beat up right ' flash said before kicking peter... there. Peter let out a grown along with a few words his dad would not appreciate. While distracted, flash threw a punch to peters face, and another. The second one hitting his nose. Flash kicked him in his ribs a number times and shoved him to the ground before saying something that peters didn't quite hear. All he heard was:
' ... worthless Parker .... Regret knowing me .... Pathetic ' and flash laughing before sauntering away, clearly proud of his beating.

While peter could have easily taken flash, he chooses not to. If he started retaliating he thought he would be just as bad as flash ( although every smart person knows it would be self defence ). Flash never hit him enough to seriously injure or even kill him, no even though flash is a.... Word his dad wouldn't like... he still has limits.

Peter sulked on the ground for a while, noting the blood running down his lip from his nose, possibly broken. Peter had to admit flash has a good punch he just didn't appreciate it being used on him. Peter could also feel a black eye coming on and thinks there's probably gonna be a few bruises on his ribs.

After feeling he's sulked for long enough, and waited long enough for flash to be long gone, peter continued his walk back home.

The rest of the walk usually took about 5 minutes but with peters sulking mixed with injuries he was there in about 15. Although knowing him and his dad were supposed to meet when he got home, peter went straight to his room, locked the door and crawled into his bed feeling sorry for himself. He doesn't know why... flash always picks on him. Only beats him up, usually, once a week or two so he really doesn't know why this time he's so upset... He guesses he's just had enough.

Meanwhile Tony was downstairs in his lab and had the realisation that peter was supposed to be home 25 minutes ago.
' Usually when he gets home he comes straight down here ? ' tony thought to himself
' hey Friday '
' yes boss '
' where's peter ? '
' he's in his room sir '
' hmm ok... how long ago did he get home '
' he came back to the tower approximately 4 minutes ago '
' ok fri ? Whats he doing in his room ? '
' he's in bed, from my calculations, he appears to be upset ' Tony didn't say anything
' boss, I thought you may want to know that peter has locked his door '
' ok that's really weird he never locks his door ' tony thought
' ok thanks fri '

Tony dropped what he's doing and made his way up to peters room. He tried to listen for anything in the room but all he got was silence.
* knock knock knock *
' hey kid ? '
' mhm '
' yeah he's upset about something ' Tony thought
' can I come in kid '
Peter didn't reply
' kid ? '
' I'd rather you didn't ' peter said, upset clear in his voice
' why not '
' I want to be on my own '
' kid... ' Tony didn't quite know what to say, he'd never been good at other peoples emotions, hell he's shit with his own ' I know, well I can tell you're sulking over something and whatever it is I would like to help out... I for one know sulking by yourself can make you feel worse so... please let me in '
