I was readin' my book on the couch relaxin' till out of nowhere I was bein' lifted.
"Yo, what are ya doin'?" I asked lookin' to see it was Cyborg liftin' the couch. "Trying to find the remote to the TV." He answered as Beast Boy was in his Bloodhound form sniffin' the garbage, tryin' to get its scent.
"How could you lose the remote?" Cyborg asked as he let the couch down. "What makes you so sure I lost it?" Beast Boy asked as they both lean into each other glarin'. "Uh... Cause I know you." Cyborg replied. I huffed and went back to my book.
"Hey!" Beast Boy exclaimed. "Just because I lost that video game-"
"And the toothpaste, and my football, and the waffle maker." Cyborg said as he listed the items.
"Not to mention my Limited-Edition Sci-Fi comic book." I looked up at Beast Boy with a bored look. "Things disappear. How am I supposed to know where they go?" Beast Boy shrugged. "Mhm." I hummed as I went back to my book.
"Well, how am I supposed to watch TV without a remote?" Cyborg asked.
"Simple," Raven lowers her book with annoyance in her eyes as a vein starts to throb in her temple. "You get up and changed the channel." Raven slammed her book and stands up.
Their heads snapped at her direction as their eyes pop out their heads. "Don't even joke like that." Cyborg warned. I was gigglin' as I closed my book. "I wasn't joking." Raven said.
"Good, cause it wasn't funny! Now either help us look for the remote, or go back to your nasty old book and-"
"This is a pointless argument over a useless device, you're wasting your energy and disrupting my concentration." Raven said walkin' towards them as Star and Robin walked in talkin' to each other.
I let out a sigh then, I felt somethin' on my lap. I looked down to see a green kitten, knowin' its Beast Boy. I scratched underneath his chin and smiled.
"Hi, Beastie." I giggled as I heard him purrin'.
"Aight, what ya want?" I asked raisin' a brow. He changed back with a nervous look. "What makes you think I want something?" Beast Boy asked as he laid his head on my lap.
"Uh... Cause I know ya." I mimicked Cyborg as I ruffled his green hair. "Besides ya always turn into a kitten whenever ya need somethin'." I replied.
"Can't I just enjoy the company of my best friend?" He asked with a smirk. I looked at him with a blank look.
"Okay, you caught me." Beast Boy said as he raised his head from my lap. "Could you maybe use you're metal bending to change the channel?" Cyborg asked as he and Beast Boy gave me puppy dog eyes, well Beast Boy actually turned into a puppy.
"Guys, I can control metal, not changin' channels." I explained. "Besides just look for the remote, that one of y'all lost." I tilted my head as I walked over to Robin and Starfire.
"I'm telling you; I didn't lose it! You were the one watching the TV last!" Beast Boy yelled glarin' at Cyborg. "So if you want to blame someone, look in the mirror, buddy!" Cyborg retorts.
"Whoa! Take it easy, Titans! Combat practice is this afternoon." Robin said. "Dudes, it's just a remote. Chill." I rolled my eyes at their dumb argument.
"We must mend your dispute by the sharing of unhealthy junk foods. I shall fetch them." Starfire added as she went in the kitchen. "Can ya get me somethin' too?" I asked. She nods her head as she gets out snacks.
"I don't need food, what I need is a time machine, I didn't-" Cyborg said
"Back me up here, Robin! Have I ever lost any-" Beast Boy asked.
