Haunted

3rd Persons POV

Cyborg walks in the main lounge, he looks over to see Kalea who was still on the computer. "You still up?" He asked as he yawns widely.

"I'm not tired. Got work to do." She answered, not giving him a glance, looking at the computer that showed footage from security cameras showing the city.

Cyborg looks at the screens on the computer, that showed the empty city. "Whatever you're looking for is probably sleep, like you should be."

"I'm good," Kalea replies as she looks at the screens. Cyborg heads back to the door, stopping to activate the tower's security systems with a palm scan.

"Lockdown initiated. Good night." Cyborg walks out the door, Kalea continues to ponder the screens, narrowing her eyes. She got up and went to the tower's basement. Several stacks of boxes, Kalea pulls one down from the top level and sets it on the floor.

She opened the box, it was filled with old evidence when they fought Slade, including his mask. Kalea lifts up the mask and blew the dust off of it. The mask revealed her reflection as she grips it tight.

"He's not coming back, you know," Kalea side-eyed Cyborg as he walks down the basement stairs. "That's all that's left of him, nothing but dust."

"We can't be sure," Kalea glares at the mask. "He was never captured, never found."

"It's over, Kalea. Slade's gone." Cyborg says.

The alarm went off, meaning trouble. "Come on!" The two teens ran up the basement stairs

Kalea's POV

Cinderblock stood on a hillside road, causin' chaos. A group of policemen stood in front of him with their shields up. The villain lifts up one of the police cars with a roar, but a starbolt to the chest catches him off guard.

"Drop it, Cinderblock, before we drop you," Robin demands, as we all stand ready for a fight. Cinderblock throws the vehicle at us, where Raven stops it and tears it apart with one swing of her hands. We all charge, Robin gets his staff ready in his hand, Beast Boy becoming a triceratops.

Another starbolt barrage drills into the igneous chest and is followed by Robin's staff crashing against the square head. Before Cinderblock can react, the green horned skull rams home, bulldozing him all the way to the guardrail with enough force to snap it.

Cyborg readies his cannon as lightnin' strikes near and fires, just as Cinderblocks fist collides with it. The villain smashes Cyborg into the ground and goes in to finish him.

I sent a huge blast of fire at the villain, sendin' him back. He stumbles to the edge. Raven traps a metal claw 'round the villain as I waved my hands to make strong gusts of wind under my influence as Starfire repeatedly fires her starbolts. Soon, Cyborg gets on his feet and fires his sonic cannon.

The villain falls from the edge, but doesn't last long when Cinderblock grabs the clamp and swings it 'round, sendin' Raven and Starfire back near the prison guards.

Robin jumps at the villain and whacks him with his staff multiple times to the face. Cyborg comes to lend a hand by leapin' to punch Cinderblock, but he was swatted down. Cinderblock jumps high and breaks free from the restraint in mid-air, once he comes straight down towards me. Once the villain lands, I was thrown upward by the shockwaves of Cinderblock's impact.

I grunted once I hit the mud, I held my head as I looked up seein' something black swished passed me. I stand back up, gettin' in my fightin' stance, I looked 'round only to see nothin' but lightnin' for a moment.

Suddenly, my eyes grow wide as I see my brother standin' behind a tree, intact with a new mask firmly in place. "Slade!" I yelled as I rushed after him. Slade easily out ran me and leaps toward the treetops.
