Dates With Destiny

Night fall in Jump City, the team and I were searchin' for a jewel thief and a giant spider. Robin in his motorcycle, Cyborg and Raven in the T-car, Beast Boy who was in hawk form, Starfire and me were flyin'.

"Range to target!" Robin calls out not takin' his eyes off the road.

500 and closing, "Cyborg responds back speeding up in the car. "Should have a visual any-"

There he is," Starfire says lookin' ahead.

"Correction, there it is." Raven chimes in. Robin skids his motorcycle to a stop in front of a jewelry store where a humanoid spider thing stands, gun one hand, and stolen jewelry in the other. Cyborg pulls up the T-Car to a stop in front of us.

The villain pulls the trigger, and before it got any close, I tilted my head and the bullets went past us and boomeranged over to the villain.

He dodges out the way and jumps onto the roof of the buildin'. He uses his spider legs to attach his head to glide from buildin' to buildin', and we chase after him.

Starfire shoots three starbolts and all three misses. Robin presses a button on his motorcycle and fires explosive disc at the villain, but only to miss as well.

Cyborg opens fire and shoots a heat seekin' missile, at the last second the villain jumps up and dodges.

He turns 'round and fires a ball of web at Beast Boy, stickin' him to a buildin'. "Super-loogie?" Beast Boy complains as he struggles to get out.

I jump up and fly towards the villain as he shoots several more webs along with Star beside me chasin' him. The villain turns 'round and fires more webs, but Robin drives out the way, Cyborg on the other hand, one blast hits the windshield of the T-Car coverin' it completely.

"I can't see!" Cyborg exclaims, and he and Raven skid to a stop. Star gets trapped in the web next, she gets free and her, Robin and I continue to chase the villain.

The villain goes 'round the corner of an alleyway, I flew the other way and glanced to my right seein' him jump over a car and across some railroad tracks, till I couldn't see him.

I jump up to see Robin on the ground and Starfire helpin' him up. I looked down, only to see me in webs and I was dragged on the ground.

"My you are a little cutie aren't you?" He walks up and lifts my chin up.

"I don't do bad boys, G." I breathed out fire, he jumped out the way and I melted the webs off of me.

"Hmm, don't be so sure." He winked making me look disgusted and he makes his escape.

I ran towards the others. I helped Robin up as I hold him up to steady him, due to him bein' paralyzed. I generated some water, the water glows and started to heal him.

"He'll live," I reassured everyone. "The venom effect is only temporary." I bended the water aside as Robin is able to stand up a little better.

"Getting away... we have to... go after him!" Robin splutters and she starts to fall over, I grab him before he could fall.

"Nah partna, ya need rest." I steady him again.

"You mean, we have to go after him," Raven tells him.

"You need to chill until that stuff wears off," Cyborg states.

"But-" The stubborn leader begins to protest, and Beast Boy cuts him off before he can argue. "Dude, we can handle it. The guy's got a spider for a head. Not like he's gonna be hard to find."

Agreed, in the meantime, Kalea and I shall take you to the tower and help wear off the venom."

Robin was 'bout to speak till I raised my brows, he sighed then comply with the both of us as we made our way to the tower.
