Kalea's POV

It was in the middle of the night and I was chasin' after Slade. I shot flames after flames, he avoided with ease and jumped over a ledge. I jumped over it and air-scootered in front of him to block his path.

I charged him with a punch, he kept dodgin' left and right. I sent 3 boulders his way, only for him to kick and dodged them all. Dust begins to fill the air, I look around to find him.

"You and I are so very much alike, little sister." His voice fills the silence. I turned to see him behind me.

My eyes glowed bright white. "I'm nothin' like ya!" I uppercutted him, knockin' him back.

"Ya a psychopath. All ya ever cared 'bout is destruction, just like father did!" I grabbed him by his armor.

"And all you care about is destroy." He points to the aftermath that my bendin' caused. "Just like father did."

My eyes opened wide and I shake my head to focus right. "How 'bout ya face me like a man!" I pulled off his mask and I dropped the mask and backed away in fear. It wasn't Slade behind the mask it was me, with Slade's evil laugh.

I jolted up and I looked around to see I'm in my room. I wiped the sweat from my forehead and took a deep breath.

"It's a dream, Kalea. Only a dream." I exhaled and left my room to find the others.

I walked in the main room to see the others in front of the screen with Slade on it.

"Good morning, Teen Titans. I do hope I didn't wake you." He says with fake sincerity. I paused my movements and glared at the screen.

Beast Boy yawned as he makes his way over to us. "What are you, an insomniac? Who calls at 5 in the morning-?" Raven elbowed him, cutting him off.

"Little sister, nice to see you." He faces me. Cyborg and Beast Boy stand by my side.

"What do ya want, Slade?" I walked up closer to the screen as me and Robin glared at the villain.

"Well, that's precisely what you've been trying to find out, isn't it? And in spite of all your efforts, you're still in the dark about my intentions." Slade shakes his head. "Disappointing, Kalea. I expected a little more from you."

"Don't play that big brotha bullshit with me!" I slammed my fist against the control panel.

"But since you both been unable to discover my plan, I'll just have to reveal it myself." The camera rotates to reveal Slade's goons unveilin' a machine. "I'm sure you're all familiar with the concept of a Chronoton Generator."

The reveal sends the team reactions of their own as I continued to look at the screen. "No!" Cyborg shouts as Starfire gasped in horror.

"Uh-oh." Raven muttered.

"No way! Um, what's a crouton generator?" He turns to the rest of us.

"It eradicates all chronotons within a localised area, utterly destroying the temporal component if the space time continuum." Starfire explained, only confusin' Beast Boy more.

"Hmm?"

"It stops time. Permanently." Raven states.

"If he triggers that thing downtown, it'll freeze-frame the entire city." Cyborg tells us.

"Tell me whea?" I demanded.

"You're a clever girl, Kalea." Slade replied. "I'm sure you and your little friends can figure it out. However, since I control the detonation, time is not on your side." He holds up the trigger for the detonator to show he ain't jokin'. The screen flickered before disappeared completely. I immediately ran out of there to try to find him and that machine.
