I'm sure if Sero didn't have my back, I wouldn't be standing in the waiting room. He honestly saved me back there more times then once. He even wisked me to safety multiple times. The entire arena was cut down in half, it was amazing. We were actually the first two of our entire school to actually make it to the next round.
We celebrated with a high five before meeting up with our classmates. We all huddled up in a group as we were sent information about who passed and who had failed. They recognize the balls and the wearers and can tell who hit whom, which calls for some people most likely seeking revenge...
I don't think I can handle actually being on another hit list...
I'm so thankful we passed the first test already. Watching everyone battle it out on the field gave me a heart attack, it was much scarier in person then watching it through a screen. However seeing how far away Mr.Aizawa was sitting from Mrs Joke was comical.
A voice on the screen startled us all, "Well, for all the hundred of you who passed the first test, please watch this."
"It's the field..." I mumbled as the arena started to transform.
"I wonder what's going to happen?" Uraraka mumbled. Buildings grew from the ground, the floors fixed itself, it was beautiful. Well- until it all cracked again.... my boots will never know peace.
"The next test will be the last one. We will have you all perform rescue exercises as bystanders in this disaster site." The voice on the screen explained. We saw people in the distance positioning themselves either under the rubble carefully or running to buildings.
Nobody is really that close together.
Hagakure waved her hands, huh... i can't tell if she was making a face in all honesty—.... It was difficult to read her expression. "They're people who happen to be at the scene. We learned this in class, remember?"
"I don't even remember what I had for breakfast..." I sighed.
"It can also refer to ordinary citizens, though" Momo rested a hand on her cheek.
The computer continued, "We will assume that those of you who have passed the first test have received your provisional licenses and test how well you can carry out suitable rescue procedures."
"Rescue? Who?" Deku asked.
"There are people in there." I said. I tried my best to point in the general direction where people were. It took them a while to generally find them.
"Huh? Elderly and children?!" Sato's face went white.
"That's so dangerous! What are they doing?" Mineta agreed.
"They are people who have undergone training to be professional people-in-need-of-rescue and are in high demand right now--"
"Professional people-in-need-of-rescue?" Sero cut off the woman, he turned to Tsuyu and shrugged his shoulders. She responded, "There are a lot of jobs out there, huh?"
Ojiro agreed, "It's one adapted to this world where heroes are so popular."
"The people from H.U.C. have dressed up as injured victims and are on standby throughout the disaster site. We will now have you all carry out their rescue. In addition, we will score your rescue based on points and if you have more points than the benchmark at the end of the exercises, then you pass. We will start in ten minutes. So please use the restroom and take care of any other necessary business right now." And with that, the second games were slowly starting. I left Sero and Sato and bounced my ass over to Bakugou
We stayed silent as I trailed behind him, he tried to lose me as we lapped around the small four by four room. He finally snapped at me, "What do you want?!"
"Oh, nothing. Why do you assume I need anything?"
"Because you're following me around like we're friends!"
"Are we not?"
"NOOOOOOOO!" He was sarcastic with it. His arms were open and he was leaning forward, some wandering eyes watching us. I was too tempted, I pushed his head down and he almost fell face first. He shouted at me and punched me in the stomach.
"Mother fuck-- ow? That hurt you know!" I doubled over.
"Good! Don't push my head down like that!" He huffed and rubbed his head, "You deserved that."
"Just wanted to test your balance--"
"Shut up!"
"Why!"
"Stop following me, weirdo!" he shouted as we ran through the tunnel, we awaited the second stage. I followed him out and I almost lost my footing a couple of times. Some other kid from another school actually helped me stand right. "Let go of their hand, they can walk right."
"I thought you didn't care?"
"I don't. This isnt preschool and im not your fucking partner." He pulled me over to Denki and Kirishima, and I bumped into the duo with a grin. 'He's so feisty, i should've stayed with the Deku squad'...
The voice over our heads started to speak again, "Villains have begun a large-scale terrorist attack! This is occurring in all areas of 'City Name Here.' Due to buildings collapsing, there are many injured."
"This is the scenario for the exercises, huh?" Kirhisma hummed.
"Lame A.F" Denki waved his hands. I snorted, i don't expect these guys to use slang--.
"Shut up! All three of you!"
"But...I wasn't talking?"
"I don't care shut up!"
"This isn't fair..." I grumbled. Crossing my arms I tried to walk off but Bakugou held onto my hoodie, telling me something along the lines of, 'Stay still. Knowing how clumsy you are, you'll fall off the side of the stage.' "You've got have more faith in me..."
"Due to heavily damaged roads, the first group of rescue workers have been delayed! Until they arrive, the heroes in the area will lead the rescue efforts. Save as many lives as you can. Well, then...Start!"
