A/N: extremely sorry for taking long. Had exams and a small block :(
The time to go back to Hogwarts finally came. Narcissa was taking Cora and Draco to the train while Lucius stayed behind due to work. Before leaving Malfoy Manor, Cora thanked Lucius for everything and said goodbye to Dobby.
Dobby had warned her a few nights earlier that she shouldn't go to back to Hogwarts because it was dangerous, but she shrugged it off and said everything would be fine.
Landing on Platform 9 and 3/4 after apparating with Narcissa and Draco only gave Cora a tiny bit of nausea. She was getting used to the feeling.
"No wanting to vomit this time?", laughed Draco.
Cora playfully rolled her eyes. "No."
"Draco, be a gentleman. And Cora, don't roll your eyes", said Narcissa.
"Sorry", answered both Cora and Draco and then chuckled. Before boarding the train, Cora and Draco hugged Narcissa goodbye and promised to write.
As soon as they boarded the train, Cora and Draco went to find an empty compartment. They arrived early, so they easily found one and sat down, Cora next to the window and Draco next to her.
After a small while, the door to their compartment opened and in came Blaise and Theo. Cora hugged them while Draco nodded and gave each a fist bump.
The boys were talking about quidditch and other things while Cora read, but it was soon interrupted when the door to their compartment opened and in came Pansy and Daphne.
"Guess who's here?", said Pansy. "Did you miss me?" Cora stood up to excitedly hug both girls and the three started saying how much they missed each other.
"I have to tell you girls something", said Cora quietly to Pansy and Daphne.
"What about us?", asked Blaise, who heard her. "Come on, tell us. Pleeeaaase." He liked to gossip and obviously wanted to know whatever Cora was going to say.
"It's umm... a girl thing", said Cora nervously.
The boys shared glances and then chuckled, mumbling 'whatever' and 'okay'. "I'll find out eventually", said Blaise with a mischievous smile.
"You won't", said Cora. "So, what did everyone do the rest of the summer after my birthday?"
After Cora changed the subject, the six friends talked for a while as the train left the station. A few hours had gone by and the trolley hadn't passed their compartment yet.
"I want chocolate frogs. Where's that trolley when you need it?", complained Theo.
"You've been saying that for like an hour", said Daphne. "Be patient. It's a good quality."
"Yes, mother", answered Theo with a hint of sarcasm. They all laughed except for Daphne who playfully glared at him.
"Well, jokes aside, I am quite desperate for that trolley as well", said Cora. "I'll go look for it, and yes, Theo, I'll bring your chocolate frogs. Anyone else want something?"
Before any of her friends could answer, the door to their compartment opened, revealing Hermione standing there. The Slytherins immediately had sneers and disgust on their faces.
"What are you doing here, Granger?", asked Pansy.
Sort of ignoring Pansy, Hermione directly spoke to Cora. "Have you seen Harry? I think he's not on the train. Neither is Ron. I have looked everywhere."
"Why would I care about carrot-head? And no, I haven't seen my brother since Diagon Alley", answered Cora. "If that is all, I was actually leaving to find the trolley."
