Prologue

PANDORA ZELIATH, THE DAUGHTER OF THE VISCOUNT. She was a beautiful young girl, she was treated like a princess and acted as such. She had no flaws, she was perfect. That's just what she was, yet nothing lasts forever. As an aristocrat, she was engaged at an early age. By the time Pandora was 15, she had met the love of her life, the one she wanted to marry.

His name was Lucifer Échelles, the future Marquess of the North. There wasn't anything spectacular about him, he was average. But she knew that he was the one, the only one she'd ever chase. Lucifer was her one true love, her fairytale prince.

But the truest of love was nothing more than a silly delusion. She was blinded by her daydream that she was unable to realize that it wasn't her that he loved. Lucifer loved another, he loved Charlene, the daughter of a mere commoner. She was just Pandora's servant, they shouldn't be anything that made him love her any more than he should love Pandora.

So why? What was it that made him love Charlene? Was it her curly brown hair? Her round and innocent eyes? Or was it her plump lips? No, it wasn't that. He loved her because she was interesting, because she had something that wasn't like the other ladies.

Lucifer believed that her love was the purest, unlike Pandora who wanted him for his money. It wasn't true, Pandora loved him too, she loved him so much. Why was Charlene's love worth more than hers, what was it that made her better than her? What did Pandora..

Pandora Zeliath was nothing more than another side character to help Lucifer and Charlene fall in love, she was just another stepping stone for their relationship. Her purpose was to bring them closer to each other. Because, in this world, there are only two main characters.

[MY SWEETHEART] was just another one of those trashy novels, a novel where no one else mattered besides Lucifer and Charlene. They were destined to be together, there was no way in hell that there was anything that could get in their way. Pandora died in the very first chapter, but no one even cared to mourn for her. Her death was a gift, her death was not a sad event but one filled with joy. A side villainess like her wasn't even deserving of a funeral.

Fiona wasn't happy with it, as a reader of this novel, she didn't like how it went. Lucifer was the one gaining all the pity, his fiancé was the one who died but no one cared. Everyone just asked how he was doing, despite being all smiles. Was his fiancé okay? No, she's fucking dead. When she was alive, no one gave two shits about her. Now that she's dead, nothing's changed. The only reason people even cared for her death was because she was the fiancé of the future Marquess.

Lucifer wasn't the one who died, it was Pandora. Why should everyone pity him? He even placed flowers on her grave and claimed they were her favorites, when she was allergic to pollen and never even heard of this flower. What kind of a bastard would do that? She even died at his hands, why would he care?

Fiona was a 17 year old girl, currently escaping from her studies. She disliked this novel, so much that she decided to send an email to the author about how much she hated the way Pandora was written and also hating how she died. She wrote down everything that was wrong with how it happened, despite knowing how stupid it was. She was being crazy, sure. But did she care? Not enough to stop writing.

The sound of her knuckles cracking as she stretched and the ping sound that the laptop made indicated that she had finished typing and sent the email. With a long yawn, she finally slouched down on her chair and closed her eyes, before dozing off and peacefully resting in slumber.
