Full of Surprises — SHORT

Pandora was sure of it now, but she didn't know how to feel. She was scared that Amor wasn't going to be so kind as she was, worried that Amor could've been hurt because of her, and elated that Amor could finally be by her side and stay with her. She could finally take this chance to see a new side of Amor, but she was afraid that this new side may not be a good one.

Amor knew it the moment she woke up, this obviously wasn't herself. She felt alive, well she always was, but it felt different. It felt much more exhilarating, she felt like she could run around and sprint her legs like there was no tomorrow... Hang on, legs? What leg was she supposed be moving? She didn't have legs, or human ones. Neither did she have arms, or such long silky and pretty hair.

She puffed as she hurriedly got up and opened her eyes. Her eyes were quickly shut after, followed by a series of shocked silence and awkward blinks. She looked at Pandora who seemed to be just as confused as she was, which wasn't surprising since a bat like her shouldn't be looking like this.

"Pandora?" she inched closer and held her hair in between her fingers. gently playing around with it. "You're Pandora." she whispered while gripping on to the bedsheets and taking in this whole situation. She hadn't even gotten used to speaking, but she wanted to say so many things.

Fiona wanted to ask all these questions, and she wanted Pandora's answers. But Amor couldn't, Amor couldn't say a thing. It was like she lost her voice, like she had never spoken before. It felt like she was a newborn who couldn't do anything. She felt powerless and lost, but she still felt something else. It wasn't negative, she felt awesome. She felt like getting up and cheering. It felt great to be human, really.

"Amor.." Pandora held her face and showed the most sincere smile she could, she held it in her palm and kissed her nose. It felt so warm, to be here and to be able to be with her. This wasn't something she wanted to have, but she always needed it. She wishes she could've turned human ages ago, if that's what she is. "Pandora..!" she squeezed her in her arms and grinned.

This was the best feeling she could ever possibly feel.
