The 15 year old Pandora strolled through her yard, clearly looking for something. As if she had found it, her eyes sparkled in delight. She bent down on her knees, not caring if her dress were to get dirt on it, and she held on the grass. In a quick motion, she yanked it out and had it in her hands. She stared at it as she sighed. Again, she hadn't found the door.

The door? What door was she looking for? Well, it was the gate to the underground, a door leading to the basement. This basement was special, though it was more like a secret base. Inside was a dark staircase that led to a library, this library contained shelves filled with secrets. She was 9 years old when she stumbled upon it by chance, and she's been looking for it since then. She saw photos of a winged creature in one of these, along with mysterious letters. She was dedicated to finding out what they meant. She didn't understand the language that it was written in, but she needs to find the book to figure it out.

As she continued pulling on the grass, she came across a strange handle. She hummed in confusion, before realizing how much of an idiot she was. Obviously, a door doesn't open when you pull on grass, it opens when you pull the knob. Her memories must be very blurry for her to mistake a knob for grass, but she finally found it. She held it tightly and pulled as hard as she could, before a bright light shined and blew her away.

As she looked down at the darkness, she gulped. It gave off an eerie feeling, as if it was telling her to enter. She felt something was pulling her in, she was allured by it. She wanted to go in, and so she did. She stood up and slowly walked in, but before the door closed, she heard a voice.

"Your destiny has finally changed.."

Destiny? How would destiny change? It wasn't something you can just change, is it a bad change? No, now isn't the time to ask any questions. She was going down the stairs, she was going to ignore the signs. She felt sucked in, as if someone was calling her name.

She held her hand on to the walls for support, while she paced. The stairs were long, it felt like it was never-ending. She turned her head around, and behind her was the door, as if she hadn't even made a move. She turned back to see, in front of her was the library. She was so far away just seconds ago, yet she was now right at her destination. This felt spooky. She turned again to see the door, now miles away. She was puzzled, what was going on?

She carefully moved towards the table, and there was something she didn't notice before. A strange pattern on the table, drawn with chalk. The candelabra immediately lit up, and as if on cue, so did the writing. She looked down as it illuminated, and the creature showed up. It was the same creature she had seen in the book, although smaller than she expected.

As she stepped closer, a squeak came out. The creature seemed like it was in distress, as Pandora picked it up and held it in her hands. She stared at it, observing it. The creature then opened its eyes and they both made eye contact. The creature then squeaked while flapping its wings in the air, panicking. Pandora panicked as well and placed it back on the table.

"Are you okay?!" she nervously asked. The creature then stopped, it didn't make another move nor sound. They both paused and neither seemed to even breathe. A small noise came from the creature as they both calmed down. Pandora exhaled and got closer to it, holding out her hand. "May I hold you?" the creature nodded in response as she picked it up, with her hands beneath the wings. The creature visibly flinched in response to her actions, and she felt the need to put it back down. "Sorry.. are you hurt?" she worriedly spoke while she put her finger beneath its chin.

The creature then shook its head and looked down. She fondly smiled before going back. She looked around and scrolled through each shelf, trying to find a specific book. As soon as she returned, she placed down multiple books. With a loud noise, the creature moved back. Pandora picked up each book, one by one, and read them all.

"Oh, this is the one!" she joyfully exclaimed while pointing at the page. She looked at the figures and tried to make out words, and was unable to read any of it. Still, it's good to know that she finally had the book she needed. She stared at the page and finally got three letters. "Bat..." she pronounced as she hovered her fingers on the page. She glanced over to the creature and made her conclusion. "So you must be a bat?" the creature looked shocked.

The creature then stood up and frantically searched its body. Yes, this was a bat.
But, why am I a bat?!

Let's take it back to the start, where Fiona was just sitting down and resting. In the midst of her slumber, a mysterious shadow peeped from behind her. As it chanted these strange words, something took her away. A light flickered as she was pulled into another place, another world.

She awoke in the arms of a woman, a familiar woman. She had short pink hair with beautiful dark eyes that sparkled in front of her. She was shocked and terrified, this wasn't anyone she knew. Who was she? Where were they? She panicked and the lady then put her down. It felt odd, she felt tiny. She didn't feel arms, or rather, she didn't feel HER arms. She was confused as to what was going on, did she shrink or turn into a bug? This wasn't normal at all...

She calmed down as she examined her surroundings, then looked back at the lady. This was totally different from home, so what was it?
